ok, the way im doing this, is figuring what i should be making monthly from a program. you have to do this your own way, what were you making before the shit hit the fan? after? whatever formula you come to. if you were making 10k with a program per month, then make sure the price reflects that.
flat media buys are all i do now. i have a few programs taht have not shit on me and they still enjoy affiliate status [for now] but anyone old or new that i am not in a current relationship with gets the flat media buy.
i dont care if they dont make 10k in the month, in two or three months with the base they build they should start to recapture their investments with players that are added to their base (what would have been mine in a previous life…)
anyway, dont sell out cheap guys. ive been doing this for some time, having good success. i always get paid AHEAD of time, not on time. in ADVANCE the way it should be. dont be a wimp when dealing with them… you will hear “trial” or “we’ll give you a high CPA” , just tell them you can’t afford to do business with programs anymore like that based on slow pay to no pay. be firm and explain that you cannot run a business on thin-air.

go get them, and god damnit leave some money for me left in their advertising budgets. im just tired of everyone getting screwed. some of the programs i have flat-media with are the ones who arent paying you guys. its too much to watch. the other thing thats been lovely to watch is how easy i can get a wire transfer if its required for the banners to go up.— try three days. in my account.
