I have a couple websites that are PR0 now that are showing PR4 and PR5 for the future .Does anyone know how accurate these tools are?The one i used is at http://www.iwebtool.com.
December 24, 2006 at 9:50 pm #719905AnonymousInactiveyeh, that could be fine
but these tools… erm… only predict toolbar prwhat is far more important how you score in the serps
do you get good rankings and visitors?that is what is counting only
pr is gettin a bit old-fashioned like, funny green bar…entertainment
but i do love pr also!December 26, 2006 at 1:20 am #719975AnonymousInactiveIn the best case it is only their own mathematics .
Very far of the real algorithm.
December 26, 2006 at 9:09 am #719984poker1Memberok time to ask a question…hope it’s OK…still working that learning curve. What is the PRO your talking of….
I went to the site mentioned….I’m assuming it’s prediction tool of sorts. are there many of these available?
When someone has a chance I’d be yet a small piece of eternally gratefull.
Thanks,

The others I have found tend to guess and I haven’t found them accurate in the past. But Toolbar PR is largely redundant now anyway.

January 2, 2007 at 6:23 am #720547poker1MemberI feel terribly overwhelmed and discouraged. Much of what is discussed here is still like another language. Still I will persist. I need a mentor of sorts. Anyone want to take a fledgling under there wing? I will not only be forever in your debt I would also be willing to pay for your help too.
January 2, 2007 at 10:00 am #720551AnonymousInactiveFeeling overwhelmed and discouraged is actually pretty normal mate.
If you hang around you will see that sort of post on several occasions.
:hehe:The thing is that you should actually be encouraged by that feeling – as it’s never easy to make good money – and now you are seeing some of the barriers that mean 90% of people drop out.
Furthermore – this game is a bit like peeling an onion – the more that you learn means they more that you realise that there is more layers to learn.
The key is to keep perservering through it all.
:blush:It IS harder now for new people to get started, because it is far more complex than it was 12, 24, or 36 months ago – but you’ve made a good initial choice by coming to CAP to learn the ropes.
:woohoo:I’m not the mentor type – and to be honest if you really want to do well then you should start off by standing on your own two feet – but by all means continue to use the resource that is the CAP forum to ask questions.
:woo-hoo:Good luck mate.

January 2, 2007 at 3:51 pm #720582biggygMemberIn terms of earnings my PR0 did much better than the pr4 and pr5s i have this year.Benito777 if you want to send me a PM , I will tell you what i have found is working for me since I only started this 10 months ago myself.
January 2, 2007 at 5:05 pm #720586poker1MemberThanks everyone,
Truely your answers are encouraging. I know there is no fast buck when it comes to really working with something worth while. I shall Persever!!! & I shall continue to read and ask questions. Thanks for your willingness to share your vast knowledge. CAP is certainly a very well respected forum in the world of affiliating, I see it mentioned everywhere and many, many casino’s have the seal of approval for CAP on their sites. I feel very fortuate that this was the first place I found in my endeavors into this arena.I’ll install the google tool bar, (though it may already be in place, is it the same thing as having the gbar, that has there search as well as book marks, auto link stuff etc, or is there something more to it.) I’m assuming this is primarily for my continued search of info/understanding/Q&A etc?
Thanks again for the encouraging words everyone. At some point I hope to be able to return the favors.
Best to you all & Happy New Year as well!
Ben
