ps some links are not working correctly due to my hosting company says its not fully propageted or something yet.September 2, 2005 at 2:17 am #672169AnonymousInactiveLearn search engine optimization. I would highly recommend buying an ebook available off of seobook.com. Really, it can answer all of your questions.
And SEO is one of those things where you really need to invest some time in learning, because the results you can get are invaluable.

September 2, 2005 at 3:15 am #672178AnonymousInactiveI can understand being discouraged. This is probably the most competitive area on the internet, and also the most profitable. You’re going to have to work hard and learn as much as you can in order to make any money in this industry.
September 2, 2005 at 3:18 am #672179AnonymousInactiveNo, the SEO book is all you need. Just read through it, take notes, plan and then develop. You can always use tools to supplement your work, but good writing and well planned out ideas are really all that you need.
September 2, 2005 at 9:35 am #672191AnonymousInactiveyou can learn a lot at cap.
Newsletters like sitepronews or sitereference are writing about seo, too.
Just do a search on your favourite se for that.September 2, 2005 at 12:20 pm #672195AnonymousInactiveYou can definitely learn a lot here.
You can also learn a lot at:
webmasterworld.com
seochat.com
Here is a great example:

This is a really good post (by the website author I believe) which tells you how to make your site successful.. I use it as a roadmap to get myself going. One of the philosophies there is: Patience.
It takes time even after you have done all the SEO you can, it takes time.

September 20, 2005 at 4:16 am #673056AnonymousInactivethanks all for the replies. i am doing good on search engines not including google. i am raked 1 at msn for vegas underground, vegas underground casino, and some other keywords. internets vegas casino, etc. i keep getting tons and tons of downloads yet no reals.
September 20, 2005 at 4:57 pm #673083AnonymousInactiveSEO is the key. Takes a ton of time (and time is definitely money), and highly competitive in the online gambling space, but once you have it right, the traffic flows in for free.
If your site is new, which it sounds like it is, you can do well in MSN and Yahoo in a relatively short amount of time, but it is widely believed that Google applies an aging filter (aka “sandbox”) of 6-8 months before they let you rank for your keywords. We launched in January and are still in the sandbox.
Check out seochat.com and their forums, tons of information to wade through.
