I am wanting to start a site to offer to organize private leagues for my members. I have a site being designed now to do this, but am now wondering how I’m going to do this. I am going to promote pokerroom.com and any other poker room that offers its users to setup private tables. I will setup times and rooms for players to meet and post them on my site. Then I will open the rooms myself and monitor the play.
Anyone have any ideas how I can make this run smoothly? Or is this just a bad idea?
Thanks,
cbruhn42I feel like this: :banger:

Thanks,

July 18, 2005 at 1:47 am #668864AnonymousInactiveI am still working out the details as to how i’m going to confirm that players signed up for their poker room accounts using my links. I don’t want to have lots of people registering for my site, taking up my time to play in leagues I run, especially if they signed up for that account with some other affiliate. You know what I mean? Then all my work to get that player to play goes to some one else.
If you have any ideas how I can avoid this I would appreciate the input. Is there any way I can check to make sure a certain player has signed up using one of my links before I let them play in my private tournaments?
Thanks.
cbruhn42July 18, 2005 at 1:58 am #668866AnonymousInactiveYou also want to make sure they don’t get stolen from your account by some poker room spamming rake back affiliate.
If we can figure out how to do that I will promote a lot of places I will not touch now.

I’m not familiar with this? How do you steal someone once they are already signed up? Can you give me an example of how someone might do this to me? So I can atleast post something to try to scare people off. Thanks,
