Their rakeback policy is about the only good thing that I can say about them.
Everytime they buy and sell and buy back their casinos, all payers and revenues are lost to affiliates, and they have done a ton of that.
I never did much with them so my losses are not that big, but some affiliates lost a bunch with that.
I don’t trust them since they did that.
September 18, 2007 at 8:09 pm #749193AnonymousInactiveSo what does it mean for affiliates that they took over the IOG properties.

I never worked with their casinos, only PartyPoker, and I never had any problems. Maybe I will “lose in the end”. But can you give me a name on a poker room where I won’t? I have a lot of poker traffic and I have to send the players somewhere. Partypoker has a great product and they converts very good..
Rake back theft i 100% accepted in this industry. The poker rooms really like the rake back affiliates and the “normal” affiliates don’t do enough to fight this. Just my opinion… :sarcasm:
September 18, 2007 at 8:48 pm #749197AnonymousInactiveThey never sold or bought back their poker so poker affiliates remain untouched.
If you type rakeback into search here, you will see I have conducted battle against it for a long time, including in Amsterdam a couple years back where Party totally shared my views. And I do give them credit for that.
I mostly turned my attention away from poker because of rakeback.
Party did repeatedly steal all my casino players and those of many others. I have not forgotten nor forgiven for that.
Re. them taking over the IOG properties, they bought them but they did not replace aff managers or tell them how to do things, so far it’s business as usual.

I know. I was there :wink-wink
BUT…the rake back affiliates won, and I’m also turning my attention away from poker…But the poker traffic I have is going to poker rooms that dosen’t allow rake back. The other poker rooms will slowly disappear from my sites…
:flush:
September 18, 2007 at 9:12 pm #749201AnonymousGuestBut can you give me a name on a poker room where I won’t?
no sir I cannot …. and that is the heart-breaking situation of it all.
they all suck!
or they don’t have enough players to keep the players we send.
what to do? i’ve no answers. except to say that WHEN a program appears that can both provide enough players to keep the ones we send …. and treat us right …. in which case they will literally take over all aff business ….. comes about ……….
we … including those poker programs existing …. will suffer. when will somebody get their head out of their ass?
and no …. I don’t apologize for saying that.
September 18, 2007 at 9:32 pm #749204AnonymousInactiveI’m having a deja vu about this post.
What’s that saying? Oh yea,
Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on me!
Although I understand that the amount is significant it’s the web site’s real estate that is generating the income (and thus the real value), the sooner a rouge programs’ marketing material is replaced with a reputable one the sooner the bleeding stops.
Although some might pine over losing their player base the bottom line is if you’re not getting paid you’re not losing anything.

you both make my reasoning logical and yet at the end … you ….also make my reasoning logical … lol
hey …. you have a spouse that’s cheating. when you gonna cut her/ him loose?
they will still remain cheating you. just a matter of how much you’re willing to put up with?
you still get what you want …. least I would hope so …. but give up being treated in an honest manner.
at some point …. you’re going to say enough is enough. when you want to do that? after 10 cheating partners ….. or 50?
really…….. it comes to that. I got no reason to attack any program …. that are still in biz….. to the point of saying this. I might say one sucks. ….. but to keep saying or keep pointing out these … what i consider obvious situations …… is because I feel it needs to be said to protect those that don’t know ….. and in return prevents these places from having money to screw those of us that do … out of money we deserve.
and btw: I still get paid every month by this program ….. and likely stand to lose by speaking up. so its not like I’m not risking more than losing respect.
September 19, 2007 at 12:54 pm #749277owldeath2MemberThanks for letting me know I have found them very unhelpful to date and after this I am going to completely remove them from all 4 of my sites, just not worth it. Not only that but you have to keep updating your bonus offers all the time or they expire very wierd system that they have going on and very annoying

Last month I earned a little over $3,300 with them and was paid only $244. They short changed me by $3000!!!
My affiliate manager has just resolved this issue for me. It really helps to have a good A.M. Thanks Elliott :hattip:
September 19, 2007 at 2:14 pm #749293AnonymousGuestno offense but it also helps having places like CAP to bring this sort of thing to attention where any intelligent program won’t ignore the posts involved!
? think about it.
September 19, 2007 at 2:24 pm #749294AnonymousInactiveThat is sooo true bb1webs. CAP is AWESOME !!

I second that! That’s the main reason I never got past the party backend since it was there that I realised they have that dodgy system of expiring bonuses in place.@ Oz
I take it you were having problems with IOG. Can’t remember seeing too many successful conflict resolutions when Partypoker itself was involved.

September 23, 2007 at 10:19 am #749721voodoomanMemberI have no major hassles with PartyPatners.
When they owe me commission it’s paid well before the 5’th of the new month. Very nice.
The only hassle I have is the stat figures lag by a couple of days.
