This is a debate as old as affiliate programs.
Over the years it has cropped up with just about every program out there.
I am not chiming in because I don’t understand the tech aspects.
But if there are scripts that will put an end to this forever, that allow the stats program to keep tracking as is while old links still work, then someone please post them please for clarity’s sake.

My apologies if my post yesterday has been confusing or unclear…
I can confirm that all of your links to CasinoShare WILL track properly, and you will, of course, get credit for any players you refer. What I was trying to explain was that we have not yet been able to automatically update the banners we are serving. In other words, if you have a CasinoShare banner on your site, which is served by us, it will not be changed to a new offer banner dynamically as of yet – you will need to modify the image source yourself. The clickthrough URL (i.e. the “href” tag in the code) will continue to direct any clickthroughs to CasinoShare, and link them to the referring affiliate tag, as has always been the case. There is no need to change the actual links because, as Bonus Paradise mentioned in an earlier post, the URL of the casino website remains the same.
We are working on introducing dynamic banners, which will update with the latest promotional information, soon – thanks for the pointer, Inspiration
I hope this makes more sense – if it doesn’t, please drop me an e-mail at [email protected].
Regards,
Lawrence. -
