GTECH G2 Poker Software Update Gives Players More Choices
Now Fully Integrated with G2’s GMS Back End, Poker 7.3 Gives Players the Convenience of One Wallet for Poker, Casino, Sports and Games

10-03-2010 (London, UK) – GTECH G2 has updated the poker software on its International Poker Network (IPN), now the largest independent poker network in Europe, to give players more choices at the table and more convenience at the cashier. The software update allows players to pick their own seat at the table and to use the same wallet for poker as they use for casino and sports betting transactions.

“Being able to choose your own seat at the table may seem like a small thing to some,” said Wendy Lawrence of GTECH G2, “But we design everything from the player’s perspective, so when players told us this is a feature they’d like to see, we built it in.”

Now that G2’s poker software is even more fully integrated with its uniquely playercentric back end, the Gaming Management System (GMS), players don’t have to transfer funds from their casino account to their poker account when they want to switch from casino games to poker or from their poker account to their sports betting account when they want to place a sports bet between poker games. They can now use the same wallet for all products.

G2’s Gaming Management System enables operators to monitor players more closely and modify product offerings and bonuses accordingly. Its open architecture also makes it easy to add new games from G2’s extensive casino games, side games and skill games portfolios or even from other games suppliers.

The International Poker Network, which includes such prominent sites as Poker Heaven and Paradise Poker, celebrated its three-millionth member last year and recently toasted its two billionth hand. The popular poker network has a Bad Beat Jackpot with the lowest qualifying requirement of any poker network (losing with four-of-a-kind sixes or better wins the jackpot). A record-breaking €601,370 Bad Beat Jackpot was paid out last November.

With the combined resources of the former Boss Media, St Minver, Finsoft and Dynamite Idea, GTECH G2 provides the most complete software solution for igaming operators including casino, poker, sports betting, bingo, side games, and payments, all seamlessly integrated through its state-of-the art player/games management back end.
