Online Sources are reporting that Groupe Bernard Tapie has reached a deal with the US DOJ and they have the OK to purchase Full Tilt Poker.
Big news- this includes GBT agreeing to pay back FTP players, however funds will be distributed through the DOJ.
So, what does this mean for affiliates? Well, a settlement between GBT, Full Tilt and the DOJ actually could be really good for business. Think about it… if players are paid, there’s a very good chance that they will re-deposit and build from there. What are thoughts on a reimbursement deal?
Wonder how much data sharing will go on with the DOJ.. here are US players and US advertisers.. and how much they are owed and have been paid in the past.
You’d hope that the DOJ stays at arms length in the daily operations and doesnt ask for access to user data.
