I see no change when I do a search for casino, or casino bonuses. They saw fit to remove my listing but there are loads of others still up there, just blatant casino adverts.
What’s going on?
Try google.co.uk.
At this time, Google AdWords does not permit the advertisement of online
gambling websites. Related content is also prohibited from ad text and
keywords. To be as consistent and fair as possible, this is a global
policy, applied to all online gambling advertisers and affiliates, both US
and non-US.
As a business Google must make decisions regarding the advertising we
accept. As stated in our Terms and Conditions*, we reserve the right to
exercise editorial discretion when reviewing AdWords ads created within
the program. This only concerns our advertising and in no way affects the
search results we deliver. Google offers broad access to content across
the web without censoring results.

sucks to hear your luck with the other PPCs.
I was just sent a letter from Overture telling me I need to add more funds. Wonder what’s up with that?
Does anybody know what Findwhat’s policy will be on gambling ads? do you think they’ll let us run out our accounts and then shut it down? ifso; perhaps a wise move to load up on your account this month.
what do you think? worse case scenario; we won’t lose our money, right? they’d send it back to us?
BTW–I’ve also tried a couple of the gambling specific PPC engines and saw horrible results through them. Bettorsearch.com and Searchgambling.com were the ones I tried.
Has anyone tried CasinoFetch.com?

So there are no decent PPC SE’s that allow gambling? Heh, what a great time I picked to give some attention to my gambling site.
I’ve had results from GoClick, 7search, FindWhat, Kanoodle, and eSpotting.
FindWhat is pulling gambling ads soon, so I’d check with them before starting a campaign there.
GoClick sent me a bunch of crap traffic, but gave me a huge partial refund (I didn’t even have to ask for it), then the amount of traffic I received got very small. But I do see some conversions there.
7search converts but not well. Lots of crap traffic.
Kanoodle converts, but barely. And their editorial team is insane.
I have high hopes for eSpotting, but so far have seen very little traffic.

As far as I am aware, Google is only removing casino ads for the US. That means no casino ads through google.com.Try google.co.uk.
Google advised me directly in an email that they were removing casino ads regardless of the country. I hope this means they’ve changed their minds! That would be good news indeed…

SEO is not my thing, and I don’t trust outside firms for affiliate stuff like this. I would rather invest money into my business than time and frustration from SEO.
Has anyone had any luck with paid banner advertising on websites? Or even print ads? I am willing to dedicate cash to promoting this, I just want some guidance in the right direction. PPC was great, but I see that appears to be a lost cost, so I need to move on.
Any print magazines? Websites catering to this crowd? Something scalable with a good return? The only way I know to promote gambling was through PPC. I didn’t find other advertising methods to be a problem with RX or Porn- but gambling I’m not sure where to go.
If anyone has any ideas they’d rather PM, maybe we can work something out. I will spend cash, but it needs to be as targeted as possible, and all the good SE’s are not long-term ideas (if they haven’t killed the gambling stuff immediately).
Thanks,
