Which is the best, least likely to get me sandoxed/filtered/violated/removed/lowered/devalued/by google/ way of submitting my sitemap, 1 file with 10,000 url’s or 100 files with 100?
I am finally finished building the nuke out and think I can really get going now.
I know how and tested submitting it but wonder which way I should.October 28, 2005 at 2:02 am #675194AnonymousInactiveCall me cynic but I would stay away from Google Sitemaps. I don’t believe Amazon or ebay will use it, and neither does Google
IMHO Do natural linking.
BradOctober 28, 2005 at 3:06 am #675195AnonymousInactiveI had my site listed on Google within 2 days after using a google sitemap. Everyone’s different, though.
October 28, 2005 at 3:22 am #675196AnonymousInactiveI don’t know much about the Google site maps, but I built a simple site map for my site (just a page with a link to every page on my site for the spiders to follow) and linked to it from the index, got a few links in from indexed pages and my whole site got indexed quickly. It only takes one link to get indexed.
As a side note, anything talkcasinos tells me to do concerning seo, i take to the bank.

October 28, 2005 at 10:37 am #675212AnonymousInactiveWell my Google Sitemap was downloaded by Google 3 hours after I submitted it.
October 28, 2005 at 10:41 am #675213AnonymousInactiveThat is good news FPL, I am happy to hear it and it’s good to know.
October 28, 2005 at 10:42 am #675214AnonymousInactiveIt was only about 4500 URL’s though not 10,000 . If you want to check it out go to xhttp://www.freepokerleague.com/sitemap.xml
I used this site as phpnuke for the last year and had robots leave it be while I tweaked the directory, it is now 100% .html
So I wonder what will happen? :happydanc
October 29, 2005 at 6:26 pm #675298AnonymousGuestIt was only about 4500 URL’s
Is that on one page?
October 29, 2005 at 7:03 pm #675300AnonymousInactiveIf you are not indexed, the google site map is a godsent.
If you already get spidered regularly, it’s not going to change much.

That was reason I started this thread, Should it all be on page or broken into pages of 100 URL’s.My site was indexed Dominique, but I changed all the URL’s from .php to .html before I submitted the site map and changed about %30 of the content of each page.
