So, I’m on the subject of good old Google!
Is there any advantage (or disadvantage) in re-submitting your sitemap to Google, or is it best to submit it once and leave it be!? (As long as it doesn’t change of course, otherwise you would need to re-submit it again).
Also, another quick and I am sure easy question to answer – Where can I check my official Google PageRank rating on Google itself!? I use Webmaster tools, but must be missing something else.
As always and forever, thanks for your replies and help!!!! :hattip::tongue:

as for checking your official google page rank, you can use mypagerank.net has the tools you require for a data centre check.:wink-wink

I only resubmit my site map if Google picked up an error and I wanted to get it corrected ASAP.

On the subject of PageRank – In the space of a few months since having my portal, I have managed to get a PR of 1 on all pages except from the ‘partners’ pages with the reciprocal links. Any ideas why?
I haven’t wanted to add reciprocal links on any of my other pages because I want a totally clean look, but I’m thinking I may need to start doing so because people don’t want their links placed on PR0 pages!!!

PR is over rated don’t worry about it unless your looking to make money of avertisising on your site which i doubt, as long as the page is google indexed that’s what realy counts not the PR.
