Does PageRank flow through image links!

According to google’s chubby cheeked friend, it does.

I’m assuming the type of image link they are referring to is what I call a “clickable Image”. Just like the ones they show you how you to make the 3rd grade. Simply put, it is an image link versus a text link. Sounds very basic and logical.

So if you have been supplying free images to webmasters and bloggers, your ‘secret’ is now in the mainstream. So be ready for more competition.

But what I am wondering is ‘if the link pointing to the link destination carries rank weight, what about the image source”. Does the src=” have any value?

If it does, I would want to change all my banners! Which is what I should have been doing all along if I had not been so lazy.

Not to toot my own horn but yes noticed big results with my animations dont see anyone messaing back saying for animations ect maybe and still am happy to help with animations and images ect

You can always stumble into a good thing and then wonder why it’s working.
But you could have also been doing something wrong and gotten nowhere.

Of course it is always nice to understand what is working so you continue to do it!

My wife sometimes accuses me of ‘raining on her parade’.

But when you say your traffic has skyrocketed, are you talking about website visitors. Hopeully it’s not image theives hotlinking to your website.

When you give out those images are you specifying the exact code for them to use with your sitelink as the destination.

If it’s real visitors to your site following those images, maybe I better take a class in image design :clapper:

Hi Rm , thats the search queries when i click on search queries in google wm tools.

before i started doing animations it showed nothing , after started doing animations grew and grew.

And yes I speficy the code at the top for them to put as a text link, also the images are now hosted on the server so that gives some destination impact hopefully

I was hosting them on photobucket originally.

I have been getting real visitors because well i think anyways because when i make anim i share it with twitter and google plus. My blog has got visitors aswell even thought not much there its working in a strange about way lol. Still early days but I make an animation and share it around it generates impressions and seems to bring me these search query keywords .
