By mad, I mean insane.
I have a site that has no PR, but tons of backlinks. I have another site with almost no backlinks which just got PR. I don’t freakin’ get it. I have been working on the first site for quite some time and nothing. I do very little on another.. get PR. Good going Google.
April 20, 2006 at 5:06 pm #689323AnonymousInactiveEven madder is that rapidforums.net and gayhomes.net rank in the top 10 for Online Casino – Google fix it please :banger:
April 20, 2006 at 5:13 pm #689324AnonymousInactiveDon’t worry about too much Google is in the process of rebuilding there index. Ocassionally the spiders fall short but you will be up again sometime soon. greek39
April 20, 2006 at 5:43 pm #689332AnonymousInactiveI would agree that the last PR update was quite odd. We’ve seen several people post here that have done little work (my assumption) and been awarded PR5. For our site, it seems the PR update hit some pages and completely missed others. We have pages that have been on our site for over 6 months that still have PR0, while other pages that were thrown up a couple weeks before the PR update have PR4. IMO, someone at Google messed up the last PR update, and it won’t be until the next one until everything is fixed. Hopefully the real PR that runs in the background is working properly.
Matt Cutts has alluded to the possibility of another PR update right away, rather than the usual 3+ month wait.
April 20, 2006 at 5:51 pm #689335AnonymousInactiveThat would be nice seeing as my main sites only got internal page rank and should have, based upon work done, increased home page rank as well.
It’s been a real joke.
April 20, 2006 at 6:30 pm #689343AnonymousInactiveI hope I am wrong, but gayhomes, rapidforum and and bbc.co.uk is the begining of something very complex for the legitimate casino sites in Google.
April 20, 2006 at 6:46 pm #689351AnonymousInactiveI think they are up there because a myriad of scrapers was removed and this nonsense was next in line. It will disappear, too.

Whoever said up there Matt Cutts is alluding to anothe PR update soon, where did you find that precisely?
thanks – B
April 21, 2006 at 6:20 am #689401AnonymousInactiveMatt Cutts mentioned it in his blog somewhere. Not sure exactly when, but I think it was a few weeks ago.
April 21, 2006 at 9:43 pm #689541AnonymousInactiveOf course there will be another PR update soon as there will ALWAYS be another PR update soon ..
What a prediction – Nostradamus look out …
:laughcry:These SEO blogs and pundits are worse than the old-fashioned snake-oil salemen …
:devil:April 22, 2006 at 12:09 am #689568AnonymousInactiveHmmm…. some follow it closer than others thats for sure…
While PageRank updates about every three months, if it started to update again next week that is newsworthy to some people.
Matt Cutts is hardly a pundit — he is a high ranking Google employee that shares information with SEO minded people
SEO is like mayonaise… some don’t like it at all and some think it makes the bread go down easier.
April 23, 2006 at 4:00 pm #689692AnonymousInactiveMy Pr went from 0 to 3 in the last update, just checked today and im on 0 but still indexed. Datacentres are still reading 3 as well, anyone had a similar experience?
April 23, 2006 at 4:08 pm #689693AnonymousInactiveWell 5 minutes later its back to 3 again. I feel there is something incredibly strange going on in the google wrold of online casinos. Or someone is having a laugh at google at our expense
