Hi,
I’ve noticed an increase recently in traffic from google images.
Is this traffic worth anything? I presume they are searching gambling terms and all images on my site are gambling related.
Thanks

They are just looking for pics of things, but I imagine some might convert anyway.
November 13, 2006 at 12:40 am #715478AnonymousInactivePersonal experience… if you arent running a website where images arent the content, its not worth the $$$’s used in bandwidth.
Its a bandwidth hog… pulling your images into the results.
Conversion can happen if someone clicks on your image, and they let the content page under the thumbnail load.

Well Im getting hits to my website so they must be clicking the images.
I just tested and when I click on my own image results the content does load.
November 13, 2006 at 11:36 am #715514AnonymousGuestHi all,
ask yourself this question: if I were looking for images, … what’d I be looking for them?
most likely answer: to put on a webpage of some sort. Fict’s right. they’re worthless.
December 5, 2006 at 1:13 pm #717929AnonymousInactive^^ Yes I only use google images when I need something for my site or want to check out something… when I find a pic I always click it in the frame so its only the image coming up… so I dont have to search the site for it…
Its worthless… anyone know how to do so google doesnt show your pictures in theire searches?:tooconfus
December 6, 2006 at 12:41 pm #718063AnonymousInactiveDisallow your images folder in your robots.txt file. It won’t solve the problems for the images they have now, but it will keep them from listing others.
