The buzz on Google Buzz hasn’t been very positive so far. But if we’ve learned anything in the last ten years, it’s that Google isn’t to be underestimated. So, can affiliate marketing expect any kind of impact from this new social networking service? Get the story here.

Personally, I feel that Google has extended themselves in too many ways, as they look to become King of the World (maybe they are already…..). However, they are kind of like Microsoft in that they continue to have the resources to throw at any venture that they deem necessary. So, time will tell here, as to how successful (or not) Buzz becomes.

Apparently you can see other things like twitter and facebook from your google buzz – but you can’t reply.

That’s got to be frustrating, same way as apple products and their connectivity.

Thanks for the responses, guys. Personally, I’m inclined to think that, overly ambitious though this may seem, Google will probably pull it off, though it might take a while to perfect their system. They just have such a huge built-in audience …

Social Media is such a buzz (no pun intended) in the industry these days, that you know that Google and Microsoft will jumping aboard in a big way. Whether they are able to pull it off through their own solutions or acquisitions, remains to be seen. Stay tuned.
