Hello,
Ok so I feel a bit weird in posting this first up, (don’t want this to look like a spam job or be labelled as such).
Also, if this is in the wrong section, I’m sorry.
Moving alone, just wanted to let people know that I’ve just opened gamblingspotter.com
it’s a dedicated PPC gambling search engine. At present you can recieve a $50 free NDR account by simply adding our search box to your gambling related web site.
If you have any queries please ask away or send a PM or email me!
Thanks
gspotter
(thinking about it maybe a bad choice in nicks :roflmao: )January 19, 2005 at 6:56 am #660386AnonymousInactiveThe two basic questions everyone wants to know about any PPC engine:
1) How many searches are made a month?
2) WHere do you get your traffic?January 19, 2005 at 10:31 am #660396AnonymousInactiveEyesCoffee that’s a fair call.
1) How many searches are made a month?
The site has been officially opened for less than 12 hours; hence that Q is hard to answer right now. I could speculate on our monthly projections, but I’d prefer to give actual stat figures based on facts. I trust you can appreciate why.2) Where do you get your traffic?
I don’t want to sit here and ramble on; trying not to make this sound like a sales pitch ok, though I do feel that answering your question within a few lines will not convey the reason nor do the site any favours. So if it’s all right I’d prefer to give a more complex answer & hopefully along the way offer a comparison as to why I believe gamblingspotter will be beneficial to both webmaster & gamblers.I’m sure we can agree this industry is highly competitive, most search engines & or directories (apart from say dmoz & a few other secondaries) are basically flooded with gambling sites trying to compete for top positions. Do a search and see how many links redirect to either casino’s & or are mirrors. IMHO gamblers are actually looking for a decent site with quality & information. There is a lot of cr#p out there, and again IMHO gamblers are looking towards other resources to obtain what they are looking for.
Also adding, a majority of the large search engines are either dropping gambling advertising or no longer accept this form of advertising.
One of my main focuses is on providing webmasters with high quality traffic.
IMO the USA market is flooded & has been beaten like a dead horse for a while now. Traffic for gamblingspotter is going to be pulled from Countries such as Asia, Europe (strongly towards the UK & German markets). Sure we will still be getting traffic from the US but our prime focus will not be on that market.
As casinos use affiliate programs to increase their player acquisitions, gamblingspotter will also be initiating an affiliate program. May I add a generous one at that!
Expected time frame for full operational mode of aff program is currently set within 3 weeks.
Now getting back to your question
Currently negotiations are taking place with a number of highly trafficked sites within Europe & the UK. Fortunately I hold a number of strong connections within Asia, as such both online & hard copy marketing will be the main focus in this area.
To coin a phrase, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
But, armed with a strong forecast, a sincere belief & the dedication to want this to succeed, I’m leaning strongly towards the opinion that gamblingspotter.com will be a resource that gamblers will use & will enjoy doing so.
