Alex please post the discussion here rather then direct people offsite to see what you are talking about.
All I know is you say Gala Casinos Suck and I have no idea why so how could I comment?

Well Prof to be honest, I thought that the “underhanded marketing bit” gave it away. Duly noted tho.
June 29, 2007 at 11:51 am #741096EzyRyderMemberIs not all marketing underhanded?
We are all lead to believe certain things about certain products… is coke not under handed by putting an addictive drug in their drink? How about McDonalds? Sugar in the buns which is addictive and TV ads that target at our children… do you think happy meals where started by accident?
This is 2007 we are all bombarded with underhanded marketing and maybe it does suck but I don’t think Gala are alone. :cake:

All that does not make it (underhanded marketing) right but at least you gave examples. I still dont know what makes Gala underhanded. To say “underhanded marketing” encompasses a wide scope and is vague. I have no idea what you’re talking about with Gala but I now know there is sugar in hamburger buns. :huh2: I think the point professer was making was explain please as I don’t understand the purpose of the link on a forum except to direct me to your site?

Is this a general discussion about underhanded marketing or about gala?
June 30, 2007 at 4:17 pm #741243AnonymousInactiveBy looking at the above link, I think he is saying Gala doctored a photograph of a player that was sponsored by a different company?
June 30, 2007 at 6:02 pm #741248AnonymousInactiveThanks for clarifying. That would be a no-no.
June 30, 2007 at 11:39 pm #741281AnonymousInactiveWe don’t have Gala’s view on this, but it looks like it was an event run and sponsored by Gala. Some people were sponsored for the event by other companies. In the official photos of the winners, their shirts were photoshopped to have Gala Casinos on them.
So the photos were on the Gala site, of people who had given Gala permission to use their images at a Gala event.
Sure, it’s bordering on shady, but they have spent money staging and hosting the event and are entitled to get as much out of it as possible.
