I’m exchanging site wide links with my partners. what do you think it’s best: exchanging site wide links or only front page links.
What are the pros and cons of both?
I would have a mixture, but lean really towards single well themed links, whether on an inside page or on the home page. There is a theory site wide links can trip an offsite over optimisation penalty filter on google.
The only site wide links I have, are from my other sites and another site wide from a non-themed forum, which I have the link there purely because it is a very busy forum with other 10,000 members.
