Now the personal threads are higher in the positions to allow more people to advertise their sites. This is useful if you have prediction site.
EDIT: As of today the user with most posts for a month is shown on the home page with his site, I am planning in the future to have top 3 users.
As i explained, in your signature you can put anything you want. As long as your posts are not spam and on topic, your links in your signature will stay there. Also user with most posts per month is showed for 1 month on home page with his website.
