Folks it really is an easy solution. A CPA deal is an invite for scam artists, if you run a good property you want real players. Real players make money for all, just don’t offer CPA deals.
If you do so than you take the risk but real operaters will stay away from this as should real webmasters

September 10, 2004 at 3:21 pm #654809vladcizsolMemberAmen to that Islandmaan. I have always said the same thing. CPA deals are in invitation to disapointment.
September 10, 2004 at 3:54 pm #654814AnonymousInactiveHonestly, my final response:
So, it seems I am still a “suspect” in some sort of scam. I seem to be “joined at the hip” in some kind of “con” operation with CPA deals, regardless of what is said.
Just as I suspected would be the case. Reminder: I am an independent entity, in no way in connectecd with anyone else mentioned by Greg. She will have to speak for herself, I can only speak for myself, and tell what I know to be fact.
ALSO, the fact that WAGER JUNCTION were the COMPLETE INSTIGATORS!! of any CPA deals with me seems to be lost in all this rhetoric. If there was a problem, it was of their own making, completely!! I did what was asked of me, and I terminated the agreement!! Has all this been lost in ire? I guess it has.
Greg, you could not have terminated what did not exist!! Bottom line!! End of story!! The deal was terminated months before you were ever employed by Wager Junction!! Fact!!
You keep trying to put a good spin on your actions in some way, shape or form, but the fact is that all you did was make misery for me, spreading rumors and telling people privately all sorts of defamatory information about me, WHICH WAS NOT TRUE!! EVER!! IN ANY WAY!!
You have never stated that here, and I believe I am owed that. Otherwise, a lingering doubt is still there.
I will be contacting you personally, as you should have done. We’ll iron this out privately, as adults should.

September 10, 2004 at 5:14 pm #654818vladcizsolMemberAmateur in the last few posts I dont think anyone was referencing you when condeming CPA deals. I have been against them since day one as are most honest affiliates.
The problem with CPA, even when no one is cheating, is that by their very nature they are a losing propostion for AT LEAST ONE of the parties involved.
The casino is hoping to aquire players at a LOWER Cost then their true value and the affilate is hoping to send them players where the CPA amount is HIGHER then their true value. Obviously someone is going to get the short end of the stick.
Net Revenue share or percentage of deposit is far more equitable and represents a TRUE partnership where neither party is trying to get the better of the other.
Affiliates are suitably rewarded for high value players, which are the true bread and butter we all live by, and the casinos are insulated against overpaying for bonus hunters or low value players.
I think that was all we were saying at this point. That’s all I meant to convey anyways.
September 10, 2004 at 5:21 pm #654819AnonymousGuestI think we all agree that this matter is closed.
On the one hand, we have the reputation of two webmasters on the block, and there has been little collaboration or proof given for very serious allegations.
On the other hand, we have only one aff manager who has stuck his neck out, and no one from his industry seems to be willing or able to back him up.
At the defense of CAP, this thread was started only because at least half a dozen affiliate programs were convinced that two people were committing fraud against them. It wouldn’t have been started if only one had complained.
I agree with the Professor – I wish this thread had never reared its ugly head.
