Thank you Greg.
This shows guts and also a caring for the industry in general.
It is also helpful to us affiliates, because ultimately, if other affiliates rip off programs, programs will suffer.
If programs suffer, so do we. We want healthy programs paying us healthy comissions.
Greg – you’re great!

I agree. I don’t think it’s right to give the fraudsters privacy. IMHO, the moment they chose to be dishonest is the moment they waived their rights to get respect.I was just now made aware of this thread. I come here simply and concisely to post a response specifically to this allegation from Greg.
First of all, since Greg has been the Aff Mgr at Wager Junction, I have not had any dealings with him, since I have not sent him any players. I did have a deal with Larry and the former manager before Greg. These guys gave me a number of free coupons to give out to players, to encourage them to deposit. This was their idea, not mine. The structure set up for this was also their idea!!
Now, why should I have to defend myself against someone who wasn’t even there, and based on what evidence?? Where is any proof whatsoever that I have done anything wrong with regards to Wager Junction or his previous job with Alkemize.
For that matter, how would anyone who is accused like this, have any recourse?
For that reason, I am requesting that Greg post here for all to see any evidence of wrongdoing he feels he has against me.
Otherwise, I am owed an apology!!
Posting my name in such a way without some sort of proof is libel, since it damages my reputation and causes me financial harm!!
Be sure, Greg!! You think you are dealing with someone who won’t do anything about this, but you are very wrong. Be very clear on this: You are acting as an agent for Wager Junction, speaking for them, and they are just as liable for damages as you are.

Hmmm, isn’t that an interesting statement!
September 9, 2004 at 7:28 pm #654729AnonymousInactiveYa know, I hit reply when I saw Ametuer was posting…
But then I remembered how she posted at GPWA and the flames and the petty s$!t that went with it….
So forget it… Waste of time…
September 9, 2004 at 7:35 pm #654730vladcizsolMemberGuys this is a very uncomfortable situation. Lets try to stick to facts and leave any jabs and pokes out of the discussion. I am going let this continue as long as the dialogue remains focused. If it degenrates we will have to lock this down and throw it in the attic. I believe Greg is based in the UK and probably cant respond until tomorrow, hopefully with details of what went on, so lets reserve judgement and speculation until we hear more.
September 9, 2004 at 7:37 pm #654731vladcizsolMemberIntegrity my IP is banned at GPWA so I cant even see any discussions there much less participate or gather more info about whats going on.

Thanks Greg… for just pointing to the white elephant and shouting “LOOK!”.Most of us did know these were the two, and I am happy you have the courage to name names…
I’ve never dealt with Michelle, but Elizabeth doesn’t surprise me at all. From what I’ve gathered by reading her posts, she seems like the type to put “self” first at all costs…. even at the price of her own (dare I say it?) integrity….
Thats right Elizabeth it happened with previous managment and i put a stop to it immediately and apparently it didnt only happen with me.
Should i collate all of the proof ,i am quite sure that it can be organized .
If you want to take action then please by all means do so.
Regards
GregHere Greg quotes Integrity’s post as proof of any misdeeds on my part. And Integrity says he is going on “From what I’ve gathered by reading her posts,…” as the reason he believes I am a felon of some sort.
Greg goes on to ask if I want him to: “collate all of the proof”. How can he, in good conscience, post my name as an outlaw without having all of the proof front and center already?
Why should I have to wait for him to “collate the proof”, when he has posted my name for the world to see.
It makes me think he does this lightly, and without careful thought beforehand. A whim, if you will, that can cost me greatly. Who, in my position, would not feel the same way?

September 9, 2004 at 8:18 pm #654736vladcizsolMemberI understand what you are saying.
Lets wait to see what Greg has to present, I suspect he will have to talk to Larry to flesh out the details then he will post again tomorrow. If it turns out to be a misuderstanding we will lock this away and move on to bigger and better things, like making money. It’s the fall and hopefully all our player friends are going back indoors and online to gamble.
September 9, 2004 at 8:31 pm #654737AnonymousInactiveI believe we did a post about four months ago regarding affiliate fraud which I tried searching for but could not find it. It was in the Bad Affiliates section.
At the end of the day affiliate programs have the right to defend themselves from fraudulent affiliates as this costs the programs serious money and in some cases it causes casinos to remove very good affiliate programs since they feel they are loosing money from having a program.
Affiliates are here to work with the program, and not to screw the programs. Naming and shaming affiliates who go out the way to con programs is a courageous thing to do and I congratulate and support Greg in doing this.
One very important thing to note is that when affiliates bitch about casinos and make allegations, this can also be counted as libel and we must not forget this.
One of the affiliates in question caused a lot of grief to many affiliate managers, and the way she conned many programs out of large sums was through CPA programs (basically credited her friend to signup with a $5 deposit and claiming the CPA rate for that signup – THIS IS WRONG!).
The good affiliates which there are many of them should not suffer the consequences of the bad affiliates as these are the affiliates suffering… not just the programs.

September 9, 2004 at 9:44 pm #654743AnonymousInactiveI was glad to see the idea of public posting of an accusation of “bad affiliate” conduct to be equal to what is posted about “bad casinos”, but good god, someone posts a couple names?
Stupid and irresponsible are words that don’t get close to covering what a idiotic thing that is.
That’s not courage, that is sick.
Either put up some fact or accusation of actual behavior or keep your mouth shut.
This thread is now exactly the kind of thing that should never, ever be allowed to exist. Reckless, contentless, armwaving, posts attacking people should be deleted.
This whole thread should be deleted at this point, and then hopefully someone will have the sense and decency to make a post that actually says something.
The accused people could be axe murderers for all I know, but if you are going to accuse someone of even jaywalking, say *exactly* what you base this on, otherwise shut up.
September 9, 2004 at 9:57 pm #654745AnonymousInactiveWell-stated Classics, and I agree.
Well-intentioned or not, this is a classic slippery slope.
September 9, 2004 at 9:58 pm #654746vladcizsolMemberLets wait till we here back from Greg. If he is unable to provide complete details we will take appropriate action.
Classics I am shocked to see you actually comment on an affiliate issue for a change instead of just SEO stuff. Its a refreshing change of pace.
FWIW Greg has told several members complete details of the incident and they are quite disturbing. I believe he is confering with Wager Junctions attorneys to get the final ok to post the exact details of what happened. Let’s give him that opportunity. It’s only fair to him and quite frankly its only fair to the affiliates in question since they have been called out so to speak.
If we just delete the thread now the question of what happened will continue to haunt them. Lets either confirm things or clear them.
Trust me, I dont like to see all this public ruckus either but we went this far, we need to see how the show ends.

I am in complete agreement on this, Professor!
I have nothing to hide or be ashamed of. And want an opportunity to clear my name. Although, once you have been accused, it is virtually the same as being convicted, as it would appear from the posts here already.
I have no control over what Greg says, but I do believe if he fails to post his “proof”, then it should be an exhoneration of any wrongdoing by me.
I am accountable for my actions, whether they are liked by all or not. I expect Greg to accept the same accountability.
