Just in case anyone may have overlooked this jewel in the new Fortune Affiliates T&C:
Quote:5.12 Should an Affiliate fail to generate a minimum of one new Player in any given three-month period, We shall be entitled to cancel this agreement upon immediate notice to such Affiliate.August 23, 2005 at 6:45 pm #671487AnonymousInactive5.12 Should an Affiliate fail to generate a minimum of one new Player in any given three-month period, We shall be entitled to cancel this agreement upon immediate notice to such Affiliate.
Great isn’t it? Shame they are on my blacklist and also shame that my blacklist page ranks very well across all engines for a variety of terms and also gets quite a few hits.
That clause should be renamed – shooting ourselves in the foot.12
August 23, 2005 at 7:12 pm #671493AnonymousInactiveFortune has been slowing down since December… a little bit at a time.
There are many thoughts and ideas about “why”, which I (with others) plan on discussing with David & crew in September.
August 23, 2005 at 7:15 pm #671496AnonymousGuestthey ain’t seen nothing yet … wait until these warning lists start taking their toll. Many of us are lazy/slow/just plain don’t have time so we haven’t even got the bulk of them up yet.

That is a seriously flawed Term. I will have to contact David about it as its EXTREMELY PREDATORY!!!1 :cuss:
August 23, 2005 at 7:30 pm #671502vladcizsolMemberI am copying this down to Fortune for their comment.

August 23, 2005 at 9:18 pm #671517AnonymousInactiveOh great! Don’t send a player for 3 months and you will never again see a penny for all the “life time players” you sent?
August 23, 2005 at 9:58 pm #671520AnonymousInactiveI have done ok with FA and like their casinos alot.
Funny enough, when I look at sites I have made after this “rumble in the jungle” started, I see less FA casinos.I wonder why?

August 24, 2005 at 8:05 am #671543AnonymousInactiveHi Everyone,
Thank you for the post and bringing our attention to this very important issue.
This clause has been in our terms and conditions from the start of the program, long before we made any changes to our terms. We decided to remove this clause a few months ago. Unfortunately in error the clause was not removed. It will removed by close of business tomorrow.
We apologise for the confusion caused.
Kind Regards,

August 24, 2005 at 2:41 pm #671571AnonymousInactiveTami, we need a firm commitment by tomorrow close of work SA time – otherwise I proceed as I originally planned – we are already one week beyond the original deadline.
