    How lame.

I love the “cannot justify” …

a business arrangement there is nothing to justify. The person is either owed the money, or not.

If they have met the agreed upon circumstances then they are owed the money. Simple.

And to me the fact they (players, or for that matter the aff too) live in the same area is not relevant because just tomorrow I have plans to have some cards made up because I have missed ops that were knocking on my door in the real world.

So its not hard to imagine that perhaps the first player told the second to try out the casino. In fact, don’t many casinos offer a “refer a friend” type thing? Are all those friends located a long distance from the referer? I doubt it.

The players obviously aren’t cheating or you’d already have busted them and kicked them out; end of story.

Just because a player, or two; happen to be shrewd gamblers does not give the right to start breaching contracts.

    Justify my …

I agree 100% with bb1webs. They should be paid.

Just to set the record straight…

Frank, as you might recall from our lengthy conversation, you were telling me that these players were NOT in geographic proximity. You mentioned that it is something you look for (ridiculous in my point of view, but knock yourselves out), but you then went out of your way to tell me that in my case it was not an issue.

Also, at the time of the second refusal, according to you, I had at least four active players. I think exactly four, but I’m not sure. Again, why should this factor into anything? What difference does it make if there are 3 players or 3000???

You keep going back to the idea that because the casino has not made any money they are within their rights not to pay an affiliate. I don’t have any control over how much a player may or may not win. Because of my marketing, most of them are high rollers and it’s not unusual to see big wins or losses. If they had first lost 8K and you paid the commission, then they won 16K would you ask for your money back ?? Whoever they are, they are still losing money (note December loss), which is good for you guys, but I’m not seeing any of it.

At the very least you should change your reporting software. It clearly states that you owe me money (“Payment Due”).

As I mentioned, I’m fairly new to all of this, but I have been running my own businesses for over 30 years. You should consider your affiliates your sales force and as any good businessman will tell you, keep the boys and girls in sales happy. I’m sorry that your company feels that it’s entitled to make a profit from every transaction. I hope that your management reconsiders their policies and strives to develop long-lasting mutually beneficial relationships with affiliates rather than the shortsightedness they are displaying here.
