Inactive… i almost posted this in public area, but thought I’d put it here first. BB1 is totally right in his anger towards Focal Click…
They have faulty stats, and they steal according to their own stats. of this I have proof, and please everyone keep off steves back for this. you want access to my totaly fuked focal click stats, I’ll let you login to my account and you explain how on month that I achieved players my payout rate is -93%, some months, -187% on others, and 0% on others… months where no one wins, my rate is back to 27% or 25%…. with a wildly fluctuating commission rate depending on your players win/losses, this program has some serious work to do on integrity. and i also agree with BB1 here, why hide our previous earning fomr us??? why only to 2004 now? total BS.
I have heard others bitch in the past about programs they are not impressed with and I enjoy watching exposure of this type of behaviour gives everyone insight….Everyone here is hopefully encouraged to speak their mind.
I left the gpwa for speaking my mind and the retributuion it caused from other affiliates… if you loose respect for someone speaking their mind, then I loose respect for you.
i always thought that if you felt ripped off you could name-and-shame… what is happening here?

InactiveI am just personally getting sick of reading the same thing about Focal from Steve for over three years – and in those three years he has not promoted them. Steve, you have got to let go of old grudges! There are plenty of new
things going on that sorely need everyone’s help to fix!It seems every now and then Steve gets a need for a hate post about Focal – apparently originating back when they first got a poker and had trouble piping in the stats.
Personally I don’t promote their poker because of the rake back issue, but I hear it works for others.
I used to promote them heavily until I got tired of their fees, as well as the fact that they convert very sporadically.
I promote them just as sporadically now and that seems to work out. But then I have a site with 70% repeat visitors and they don’t want to see the same stuff all the time – I have learned to rotate everything frequently.
There is no rule against speaking one’s mind – I am just personally very tired of this recurring negative posting by someone who has not promoted a particular program in over three years. I can’t see the point since Steve’s experience is so outdated it doesn’t apply, even if there are current complaints.
Re. the fluctuating conmmission rates: They are explained every month in their newsletter. They are mostly lkike most other programs but I think I remember them changing faster in response to players sent.
I am really not here to defend Focal, I hate being pushed into that position over and over again. I just don’t think a three year old gripe has much relation to current affairs.
This is my personal opinion, and Steve knows that we remain friends through this – the same issue has been discussed at length before, several times, and keeps recurring for over three years now. It hasn’t hurt our personal relationship.

InactiveI for one appreciate Bernie and Steve posting their experiences with programs. And I don’t think that 3 years ago makes it irrelevant now. If a program was cheating 3 years ago, then they’re more likely to cheat now.

InactiveWell, they were not cheating then. They had problems piping in the stats from their then brand new poker. They had the stats but could not display them.
Steve didn’t believe them. Looking at all the mess with poker stats in the last three years and how even Playtech can’t get theirs to work still, I believe them.
I don’t see how beating that old horse benfits anyone now – no one has trouble with their poker stats now.
I am backing out of this thread because I have spoken my mind and I hate being pushed into a situation where I feel I need to defend Focal on principle. I really am not defending Focal here – I broke relations with them over the rake back issue. I am just sick of listening to the same old vendetta over and over and over and over again. Because by now it is just that – a vendetta.

Amen, brother! Thanks, Bernie!
