New bounty tournament series will award thousands in extra money to the top weekly and monthly players
Las Vegas, Nevada – May 4, 2010 – The big weekend brawl has a new contender every Tuesday and Thursday night. DoylesRoom.com has launched a new tournament series called Prime Time Fights. The twice-weekly bounty tournament has a buy-in of $30+3 and all participating players will have $5 bounties on their heads as they compete for the chance to take on a member of The Brunson 10.
While bounty tournaments aren’t new to DoylesRoom players or members of the international poker playing community, the Prime Time Fights concept is unique to DoylesRoom thanks to a dual leaderboard system that awards thousands in extra money to the most successful fighters.
In addition to the $5 per-player bounty, all players will rank on a weekly and monthly leaderboard. The player who picks off the most players in a week will win $250. The player who picks off the most players in a month will get to play a member of The Brunson 10 for up to $750.
The Brunson 10, Doyle Brunson’s team of elite pros, features six of the world’s top online poker tournament players. Zachary Clark, Amit Makhija, Chris Moorman, Dani Stern, Alex Kamberis and Steve Gross currently occupy six spots on the team.
