Over time I may have forgotten more about some subjects than some people ever knew, but I am not quite that old! grandma2.gif

I am no teacher Dom. You showed me where, I learned and am the only idiot with a site that won’t abide the firms like betfair that use spyware and then gets told to not dilly dally about mentioning names.

Ok, you are not dilly dallying. biggrin.gif
I used to keep up with this stuff, download the thiefware and I used to be pretty on top of who was using what in the gambling industry. I used to contact everyone I saw with new ads and try to talk them out of it, mostly successfully. Getting habitual users to stop was impossible, but it wasn’t all that hard to talk new users out of it. I quit some 3 years ago and now am totally out of date.

I have mentioned elsewhere that I would gladly pay someone to keep an eye out for who targets my site and also who scrapes from my site. If somene wanted to do such surveillance full time, I bet there would be enough clients like me to make it profitable, plus the informaton gained would be valuable to all.

I agree whole-heartedly that any time a player is sent somewhere unethical it hurts us all.

Definitely. Gives us all a bad name.

Recently these 2 casinos have come off of my evil list and put on past issues at Casinomeister and have basically been granted a new lease by most. They have new software, new management …blah, blah. I took them off of this evil list a couple of months ago. At first all went smoothly and players liked it.

They started to market more aggressively and were becoming slighty popular. Yesterday they blew it and are getting sent right back to the evil list on my site. They are sending this Email to all players who have won recently:

    Dear XXXXXX,

During the period of March 10th to March 14th new software elements were implemented to our new game engine.

Few days after launching the new software we noticed that the “Black Jack” game engine was damaged during the implementation and all players of the “Black Jack” game were given significant advantage over the house, resulting in unfair results for the house.

As an immediate solution, the game engine was repaired on March 21st .

According to the terms and conditions you agreed upon installing the software, We will reverse the activity recorded between March 14th to March 21st .

In the next few hours we will reverse your initial deposit and welcome bonus back to your account.

We welcome you to continue enjoying our games and services.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

    Sincerely yours ,

    Casino Manager

They do not make any sense to me. They worked hard to get back some respectability then just flushed it away. I recommend to stay far away for your player’s sake. :flush:

Which casinos are these? This is not the players fault but the blame should be on the casino for sure. greek39

Casino for aces (formerly casino4aces) and Winner. They are winneraffiliates.

HI there. I am kinda new to the affiliate field and have a lot of poker/casino sites on my site and I review as much as I can. I dont review everything I advertise but I do a lot of reviewing for the majors and my favourites. I dont want my customers to be treated like shit by someone I recommend. Its all down to time and site content that I have not reviewed every thing. I think it would be helpful if any of you guys out there could put the newbies in the know as to what programs tend to sicken you or the customer. If we have a list of bad affiliate programs not recommended by affiliates, which could be updated when they get their act together, I think it would be most helpful.
    Thanks for reading this

    Here is one place:

    http://www.gamesandcasino.com/blacklist.htm

Make sure you go to casinomeister.com and look for his list of “evil ones”.

Remember that all blacklists are merely opinions.

Your best bet is to research player forums…thats the sharp end. Casinomeister, Winner Online, Gone Gambling…those 3 probably lead the way. Spend your time researching issues and resolutions.

Worry about the affiliate programs second and dont be swayed by amazing % deals. I’d take 15% from a top casino over 50% from one with a poor player rep any day of the week. If its solid with the players, it will probably be solid for affiliates.
