I set up an ePassporte account and they kick ass. It was simple to set up and I was approved and funded within 10 minutes.
This is EXACTLY the sort of ewallet solution we need for players and affiliates. We need to get all the operators to adopt it ASAP and forget about Click2Wait.
February 5, 2007 at 11:38 pm #726082AnonymousGuestHi Prof, this is one of the few times i disagree with you.
if its true this place is based in Cal. its not a quality option.
I have seen posts stating it is and that it isn’t in Cal. If its safely outside the states then by all means yes.
but if its in the states. its a bad idea regardless of how fast they were.
February 5, 2007 at 11:41 pm #726083vladcizsolMemberDo we know for sure they are based in California? Isalndmaan said they were based in Canada and he trusts them. They are already light years better then Click2Wait in my eyes. Would you prefer an offsite solution like Neteller or Click2Ya that you cant WITHDRAW funds from. What good is that?

What good is that?I trust the two operators who’ve told me it was based out of Cali, but I’m gonna look deeper into this.
I did have a look at the website and it looks like the marketing is based out of Canada. Without question, though, they clearly have some form of operations in California, as they’re showing Los Angeles phone numbers for account queries:
February 6, 2007 at 12:01 am #726087vladcizsolMemberIslandmaan lives in Curacao I wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt know one of the principals.
February 6, 2007 at 12:04 am #726088vladcizsolMemberWe were using GotvMail in California for our toll free support too up until last year:
Just because you have Cali numbers doesnt mean you are there. Often times companies will set up local numbers to make clients feel more connected or safer too…

Agreed.
I’ll definitely check deeper into this, because I HATE giving misinformation. I’d be surprised if the two operators I spoke with were mistaken, but I do think we all need to be clear on this, one way or the other.
And yep, I’ll be the first one apologizing if I’m wrong and the first one jumping up and down with joy should there be no California connections.

Wont the DOJ just go after epassporte just as they have Neteller an shut down their banking options?
If we are to truly believe that the DOJ is the reason Neteller can no longer deal with usa banks; we must consider that all other ewallets will eventually be in the same boat. No?
I dont know about you, but I dont want another 50k locked in pending mode with another ewallet. If its at all possible I want to feel 100% safe with the next option.

Quote:If we are to truly believe that the DOJ is the reason Neteller can no longer deal with usa banks; we must consider that all other ewallets will eventually be in the same boat. No?Again what are you suggesting that we close up shop? If we cant use eWallets and we cant do wires and we cant do ACH and we cant do checks then what?
If you have 50K in Neteller I am assuming you were earning money in this business and you would be as eager to find a solution as the rest of us. Rather then just throwing sand on a coffin, help us come up with something that works and lets get back to earning a living.
February 6, 2007 at 1:26 am #726104AnonymousInactiveIts not about tossing sand on a coffin its about being safe and secure in the future; at least as much as possible. What good will it do me we jump in the first bus that comes down the street if that buses’ destination is not where we want to go?
Hell yes I am eager to get my money. hell I now have 3/4 of Decembers monies locked up and Januarys options (ACH,Check, etc) all being flushed down the toilet. I too would love a viable option; just hoping when I select one that it is the answer.
If we are just jumping at the first thing that comes along it might not be the wisest move, I think we should step back for a second and make educated decisions.
Either that or we take the first option get as much money as we can while we can; thats not a very secure plan; but if thats all thats available to us then we will have to go that route.
February 6, 2007 at 1:30 am #726107AnonymousInactiveI took a look at transaction limits and I’m sure this is not an option for a lot of people here. https://www.epassporte.com/secure/jsp/PersonalAccounts.jsp
February 6, 2007 at 1:36 am #726109vladcizsolMemberYeah thats true Filipe. But a $1000 a day is better then what we have now which is $0 a day. I wish there was a better solution. Perhaps one will come along soon. I just really liked th ease of setup of the ePassporte account and they seemed fully competant. I cant say that about the other wallets I have looked at lately.
February 6, 2007 at 1:41 am #726110AnonymousInactiveJust tried to sign up> “Your request was declined, Please try a different credit card.”
Possibly they have already been tagged by banks? HMPH!
Also the business plan says it has unlimited transactions
February 6, 2007 at 2:18 am #726113AnonymousInactiveNo sure if epassporte will be of help for this industry.
YES, they are serving the Affiliate industry (porn, pharmacies, herbal, dating, etc, etc) with very few complaints
