I know Sportingbet bought Paradise, but they use the Boss rooms for all of their poker, with the exception of Sportsbook.com
I know they also bought Brooke Burke, hostess of Wild On.
They are moving from a straight faced “London Stock Exchange” image to more of a tropical, islandesque image.
Not a lot of people promote them, to my surprise, i wonder if there is anything i should know.
I have been promoting them for a few months now, i have 10 real money players that have earned me a grand total of $0.
Their promotions scheme is good for players, but not so good for affiliates.
I wonder if this is why people don’t promote them.
Example :
Player needs to deposit $50+ to be counted as a real player
Min deposit is $20
Promos : $10 free bet every week, $100 free in poker roomAn average player will turn that $20 into $100 very easily within a few days of opening an account.
I asked if they would consider paying out something for those minimum depositors of $20, which is the majority, but they rejected the idea.
If i sent them 10 players who all deposited less than $50, i should get something for my efforts, especially since many players will make a small initial deposit to sample a place, and their sign up bonus of 10% is hardly an incentive to make a large deposit.Stephen
What purpose does it serve to have 100+ online sportsbooks offering the exact same product, is that bad business practice, cornering the online market by having as many domain names with the words “sports” and “book” as you can get your hands on ?
Just your thoughts on your new bosses, no matter how bias they may be.
Another question about Sportsbook.com
I have an active betting account there, one day i noticed a link for an affiliate program, so i made a note of it and went back to sign up a few days later. When i returned, the link was gone, i called them and asked about the program, they said they never had an affiliate program, i had imagined the whole thing.
Would you know anything about this ?
Thanks

Hard to answer things outside of my knowledge but I will try anyway:
1. Sportingbet is intending to move from the Boss Poker rooms. It is a technical issue, which is being ealt with.
2. I am not privy to the reasons/benefits behind the different sportsbooks, however, each are supposed to be aimed at diferent markets.
3. Sportsbook will eventually have an Affiliate Program. I do not know if someone put up a link by accident or anything, but I’ll make sure ou know when it is launched.I probably haven’t helped much…
