sent them an email and got this answer:
Hi Kevin,
Thank you for your email. We are not considering revoking this group’s Safe and Fair seals because there has been no breach of our eGAP requirements for the casinos. We also do not currently review their affiliate program as we do for various other operators, and therefore it is not appropriate for us to initiate a formal investigation into this matter.
However, we would like to see this issue appropriately resolved, and I am hoping to speak to the program’s management soon to see if we can find out more.
I have also been in contact with J. Todd about this, and will discuss any further developments directly with him.
Kind regards
Andrew Beveridge

Subject: Grand Prive GroupHi,
I was wondering if you are considering revoking the seal for this group of casinos after the case of player theft that is going around..
They have been rouged/blacklisted on a number of sites already…
I know that this is more an affiliate issue – but if they steal from us – then surely that is bad ethics and not something that a player should be exposed to.
Have a look at these ( a short list of many sites):
Casinomeister, Reviewed-Casinos, Casino Affiliate Programs
Thanks and regards
Kevin

December 8, 2008 at 12:24 pm #789607AnonymousInactiveWell if they don’t do anything then I”m pulling their seal and will make a page telling about it as well.
I’m sick of getting screwed by programs that feel they can. I really hope eCogra reconsider and do the right thing.
Good job sending the letter peralis! :hattip: Please keep us posted on any details.
I may contact JT to see if he knows anything later this week.
December 8, 2008 at 1:16 pm #789610AnonymousInactiveI have a site devoted to ecogra casinos – It won’t look good for them if I redflag all the grand prive ones with a loud “rogue” sign.
I lost Andrew’s address – Peralis, could you PM me with it? It’s on my old computer and would be laborious to retrieve…

Done – I posted the email here first because I thought that if one or two more people contact them, hopefully they will do something – but if they do nothing I will be writing an article about this.
Definitely not an attitude you would want from a certification entity who brags about their morals and integrity yet ignore blatant theft.

Hi Dom,
Good to hear for you. Just as I was looking forward to a quiet end to a hectic year … J.

We also do not currently review their affiliate program as we do for various other operators, and therefore it is not appropriate for us to initiate a formal investigation into this matter.
However, we would like to see this issue appropriately resolved, and I have been in contact with Grand Prive about this and I’m hoping to discuss this further with MGS. I’m not sure we can necessarily do anything about this, but I will certainly try.
I’ll hopefully be in touch again soon.
Kind regards
Andrew
and lateron:
Hi Dom,
I’ve been in contact with Grand Prive management, and they’ve explained to me in detail their reasons behind closing down the Grand Prive program and the consequences. I’ve arranged for a manager at Grand Prive to correspond directly with J. Todd at APCW to explain their position more fully. I hope that this will go some way towards resolving the situation, and I regret for the reasons I’ve mentioned before we are not going to be able to get further involved with this.
Kind regards
Andrew
December 11, 2008 at 7:09 am #789856AnonymousInactiveUnfortunately simply explaining your reasons to do this will not resolve it. It is STILL THEFT! Whatever the reason. eCogra putting on the blinders and distancing themselves is not a good precendent.
I will, however, wait for an official statement, then will be writing up an article about this and eCogra’s and Microgaming’s lack of interest.

I agree with you peralis. That reply is NOT acceptable and I want to see more done. What can Grand Prive possible say to make anyone ok with this?
December 13, 2008 at 5:02 pm #790066AnonymousInactiveI don’t think MG really care about how the operators work as long as they are paying their monthly fees.
December 16, 2008 at 5:47 pm #790286vladcizsolMemberI was out of town for the last few days. We have another call scheduled with Michael and Danesh from Villa Fortuna and are trying to get them to come to their senses, though they seem to believe they are not in violation of the affiliate agreement (Lunatics)
We havent reached out to MGS or eCogra yet either due to the pile up of work we have for CAP London, CAP Awards, CAP2.2 and a few other pending projects. We will get on that agressively in London and hopefully that will bring about something more favorable then the current situation.
