Is there any coincidence between Google suddenly offering a redesigned, streamlined web design and the growing concerns over competition from social media sites like Facebook? Read here and judge for yourself.
I guess anyone can read into this as they wish, but any entity that competes with Google is a real good thing at this point. Competition will force them to address their shortcomings – it is never a good thing to have a virtual monopoly in anything, especially the search engine space.
