Honestly… do you know any honest RTG affiliate program? ;)

We are working with Affactive since January and we have our own tracking tools and we have found them to be 100% accurate. Also we earn more with them in such a small time than we earn with other rtg after 3-4 years.Sean is absolutely the best manager I have worked with in a long time .

what I see as strange with this problem is that if it is a employee that sells or try to get traffic to another site for one or another reason, why would they go for inactive accounts, it is not like getting a signup is worth something.

I would understand if a test account was made and £1000 was deposited, then that player would get some attention, but why steal and risk getting caught for a no deposit client?

So either some kind of spyware on the guys testing this, but on the other hand if two affiliates tested it and got the same it sounds very strange indeed.

So more likely a common practice with the original company to transfer players, cause they would not have time or energy to go in and manually check each individual account, which for instance a CS agent would have time to do.

    Just my thoughts

What makes it extremely strange is that apparently they had some issues with the casino the traffic was being redirected to. Issues as in disagreements – a feud.

That’s why I am not all over this, it just makes no sense. Something is wrong there.

There is no spyware on our computers. We all use Macs in our office so spyware and viruses aren’t a concern like they are with say, Windows machines. And like you said, it isn’t like I didn’t get independent verification in this thread from another affiliate- you saw that I did.

Why not market every player? A man doesn’t step on the lot if he doesn’t want to buy. I don’t see a reason to only hit the depositors if you can easily hit everyone. They are not marketing to inactive accounts. They are marketing to fresh signups- people that maybe are thinking about depositing but want to try out the casino first, in addition to all of the people who are depositing out of the gate.

I can tell you from all the email marketing we do on the non-gaming verticals that fresh leads like this are the very best you can get.

It was probably the company BCP was contracting with to send their emails to their customers that was selling the info to Gold VIP out the back door. BCP does not send their own email- you can see that by inspecting the headers in the advertising emails that come from BCP.

Since my company’s core business is email marketing, I understand how this works. If you don’t seed your list before you give it to your list manager, your list manager has literally no risk in doing whatever they want with that list, including selling it to a competitor. In all of our list management agreements, we require our list providers to seed their lists, monitor those seed accounts, and create new ones periodically. They sleep better at night and so do we. BCP was clearly not doing this.

In my communications with BCP, after you first posted here, they stated that they seeded their lists and could not duplicate the issue…

Note, this was after you posted. I don’t know if they had seeded their lists prior to that, but I would assume so… but that’s just an assumption.

Two seperate affiliates tested this in this thread (AK and the OP) and got the same result, not just one. Why wouldn’t BCP actually come here and just make a quick post?

Correct, I have pulled them as well. To many other solid programs that keep your info safe.

They don’t even come in and respond…

Apologies for bumping this thread, but having just found it I wanted to ask which over Vegas Tech casinos you’d recommend for switching to?

I’ve been having a few issues with payments and player value over the last couple of months and would certainly think about alternatives in the light of what I’ve read in this thread.

    Thanks for your help

I got to put my 2 cents in here, we haven’t had any problems with BCP and pretty happy with them.

We drive quite a bit of traffic, and track our traffic as well – what we don’t do is do audit the casinos we promote.

It might be something we should look into. Audit casinos with random signups, and see if the email gets passed on / cross marketed.
