    Hello all.

Well, I decided a couple of weeks ago to jump into the casino market. I’ve been marketing in the pharm biz for a while now and am making good money, but I think it may have run it’s course. I figured casino was comparable in terms of earning potential.

I hooked up with windows casino because of their private labeled solution and the 50% net payout. Seems to be a good deal for somone like myself (new to casino, but not new to affiliate marketing)

There does seem to be a considerable amount of competition. I focus primarily on seo, but the idea of offline marketing is tempting. Offline pharmacy marketing wasn’t that great though. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with offline marketing in the casino biz?

    Thanks.

    :)

Hello Ponomo and welcome to CAP

I have done offline marketing through a number of channels with varrying degrees of success.

I did radio advertising which was very expensive and produced very little Return on Investment. Even though I focused on Talk and Sports radio I think most people listen while driving or working and therefore dont access your site when they hear your spots.

I tried small regional newspapers like thrifty nickel and local shoppers. This didnt pan out well either. I think the wrong demographics read these type of publications.

USA Today – Another expensive bust.

CD mailers – very expensive and little ROI unfortunately. If you are going to do CDs I suggest handing them out personally.

Another inexpensive thing to do offline is leave business cards around whenever you go the bank (drive through tellers) , Gas station, Restaurants and especially bars. I picked up this trick from my good friend the Captain and its cheap and does produce a few players here and there.

Hopefully others will post some ideas too…

    Good Luck

Thanks Professor. I like the business card idea.

I often wondered if it would be possible to sponsor certain events in order to get some exposure for the casino. For example, some people I know are always attending private poker parties. Maybe I could provide dinner and in return, each player get’s a CD. Or possibly be a sponsor for a local Monte Carlo night.

Anybody try anything like this before?

    Thanks.

I haven’t tried offline marketing as it’s difficult where I am, however, would advertising/sponsorships of sporting clubs be useful in promoting sportsbooks. Just a thought.

Others have tried advertising on fantasy leagues/tipping competitons at sports bars with some success I believe.
