March 30, 2003 at 6:02 pm #638856AnonymousInactiveThis was certainly an interesting read.
The post clearly states how he and another company have “hacked” their site.
They also state that they extracted names and email addresses from “their” database. (JavaScript exploit I wrote (to flood their databases) worked very well,)
Interesting, that in and of itself may be considered a felony.
If you suspect that any contact information is either invalid or incorrect, I suggest that you file a complaint with ICANN. ICANN policy dictates that all contact information to be valid on all domain names.
Policy also goes on to state that if a complaint is filed with the Registrar, they must contact the domain owner and the information must be updated.
You have brought up some very interesting points, however, cyberthrill may actually be running the backends for others at a few of the properties, and I would like to see someone from cyberthrill (in addition to cashforclicks) step in here and have the opportunity to give their side of the story.
March 30, 2003 at 6:59 pm #638857AnonymousInactiveSo this Munga bunga guy (or whatever his name is) claims that all this so called cyberthrill clones are powered by grandvirtual, while atleast two of them are working with the gambling federations software. I think he,s full of BS.

My name is Vlad, I am VP of marketing and development for 2K Services, Inc. 2K operates CashForClicks.com and the 3 casinos that can be promoted through the affiliate program.
Let me clear up the issue of cyberthrill. CashForClicks.com domain was purchased by us in beginning of 2001 from a domain broker.
The new CashForClikcks, and our company have nothing todo with CyberThrill or owners of cyberthrill, I don’t even know who owns cyberthrill or operates the casino.
I have done some reading about cyberthrill and its reputation, apparently many claim that the operators of the site did not pay their affiliates on time or at all.
Let me assure you that the NEW CashForClicks.com has always paid on time since we have launched it in 2001, and never had complaints about payments from our affiliates. We are planning to add message board to our members area, so you guys can ask opinions about c4c from our affiliates. I am sure you will be satisfied with what they say.
In fact i honestly beleive that the new cashforclicks is far more competitive than most other casino affiliate programs. Firstly, we pay 50% flat while others 30-50% depending on volume. Secondly, we pay 10% of referred affiliates’ revenue, while other don’t offer this option or pay only 5%. Thirdly, we have all the most popular payment methods such as paypal, wire, check, fedex, you name it. And last, but not least, our casinos convert.
I hope this information clears up the issue.

April 6, 2003 at 2:41 pm #638889AnonymousInactiveYou know using words like please & thank you go a long way!
I think this is a bit snotty. Granted, please and thank you are nice, but not necessarily attached to each question posed on the internet.
The question was to the point and not in the least agressive. I like seeing a question like that. It sure beats the imprecise ones and the agressive, abusive ones I see all the time.

Your entitled to your opinion, however pertaining to the WHY I replied in your words ” snotty “, the following may enlighten you.
I will also add that for someone who last time I heard was paying a web designer & graphics guy to do their site, I would suggest you actually try to do this yourself one day. Then you may have a totally different take on my post & reason for it.
After taking 5 screen captures of which all images where 650×330 and around 45KB each; after optimizing. I set about resizing them to 450 in width & then pasting each image to form continuity. I did this for those who did not have cable, so they would not have to wait ages to view the stats. ( this took around 20 min )
Don’t bother posting a comment, I wont be back!!!
PS that matter got sorted out, I suggest you ask mak445 about it.
April 6, 2003 at 6:13 pm #638894AnonymousInactiveI have no problem with your stats or any of your presentation, just the way you lashed out at someone asking a question.
Guess I got mine now,
April 7, 2003 at 1:56 pm #638900AnonymousInactiveI,m getting a lot of replys from you guys but no real answer to my question, is grandvirtual in anyway involved with cyberthrill ripping people of ?
