I don’t think that CAP certification is for a certification of quality??
It remember reading before that listing here is for an avenue of communication.

Affiliates can decide for themselves if they want to promote the program, after reading the responses here. Threads like this would make me stay well clear of programs such as this.

I am on Maxis side here, he/she has the right to yank banners for non payment and then the breech of the contract is an entirely different matter and completely unacceptable!

This is a lot of money and even if it was $100 why is it acceptable for a program to hold your money hostage for banner space, this is getting to be a very worrisome trend with these programs.

First of all thank you so much Professor for clearing things up.

    To Maxus,

We have to say again, that you are not an active affiliate. For one simple reason – you have not sent even a CLICK since: 13.5 months ago in Palace of Chance, 6 months in Cirrus, 8.5 months in CoolCat and 9.5 months in Club Player. There’s a record of your payments, which shows each single payment paid to you fully until the recent closure of the account. We found at least three emails, all of them dated between December and January, where we try to get a hold of you several times, because we could not locate you for the payment. It only proves that you were not even logging into your account, or checking on your activity. If we would not have reminded you about picking up your commission with us, we are afraid you would have never contacted us at all. If we were trying to steal some money from you, we would not have contacted you, and then we would have avoided all this discussion on the forum. It was really easy to close your account back then, and make you forget about us for ever. However, that’s not what we did.

The facts are already on the table. We were paying you AFTER you
stopped sending traffic YOU ADMITED THAT YOURSELF. 4 clicks and 2 downloads
sent after we deactivated your account DO NOT COUNT as an effort, you did
not put up our banners, or put in any effort to market us.

The main problem we are having with you is that instead of WORKING WITH US so that you can be unquestionably in title to all of the commissions, you continue creating a bigger problem, by accusing us and not trying to negotiate. We are a partnership and you have forgotten that.

    To everyone:

As Professor said, affiliate business is about partnership, and we believe
that we have made every effort to ferment this partnership with our
affiliates, Maxus included. If we feel that our partners are working WITH
us, we will make every effort to work with them to their benefit (the $3k we
sent Maxus after remaining inactive so long testifies to this). Natalie even
sent an email yesterday to Maxus regarding a possible solution.

    To Engineer, Kwblue, and the27offsuit,

We understand your position about our terms and conditions and I respect you
for having your opinion. PLEASE RESPECT US TOO. Even though you don’t like
us, we are an honest and hard working program that pays our affiliates
hundreds of thousands of dollars while providing top notch support.

We do not cheat; we DO NOT breach our terms and conditions. There are
affiliate programs that DO cheat their affiliates by breaching of their own
terms and conditions; we are NOT one of those. The way you have been talking
about us, makes us sound like one of those thieves, which we are not. Do you
really feel this type of miss-information is good for the industry?

Please try to stay objective. If you want to warn one of our affiliates of a
condition you dislike, that is great, but please do it in an objective way,
resisting the use of pejoratives. Saying that we are scummy, that we steal,
that everyone should drop us is not objective, or informative, quite the
    opposite.

As we have gone over, you may not like our terms, but we are entitled to
placing the contract we feel right to do business with. Our program has
plenty of good things. The controversial rule is not an inconvenient to so
many of our affiliates that earn so much. Even TheGooner admits to promote a
    program with a similar term.

    To bonustreak,

It’s sad to see facts are not going to stop you from trying to bash us. If
you would only read the thread, you will notice Maxus HIMSELF admitted we
were paying long after he stopped promoting us.

    To Professor, Gooner and Dominique,

Thank you for you valiant efforts to separate fact from fiction.

    Best regards,

    Natalie & Nicolas.

    Hi all,

as I said in my last post: it is often I don’t see the wisdom the Prof provides until he comes and shows me the light.

In this case I am left in doubt as it is (as it stands) the programs word against the aff. I think in the end it comes down to Dom’s approach. Don’t sign up and promote a program with predatory terms and you’ll never find yourself in this situation.

I am always first to side with the aff. But that said: if you join a game where you know you’re getting the short end of the stick …… don’t be surprised when the long end comes around and sticks you in the backside.

Pay attention to KW’s site. if it has predatory terms …. avoid it at all costs or suffer the same this poor soul who in my humble opinion ….. if its all true as this person states …… and I’ve no reason to think different since why would you stop promoting a money-making deal unless you were getting shafted …… expect the same outcome for choosing a program with predatory terms!

*Apologies to any party I may have accidentally offended for not knowing the truth of the matter .. especially the Prof as he is as always …. caught in the middle of the situation and due respect to his position MUST be given. I remind everyone that although its true the Prof makes money on having a program listed as certified …… I assure you its not enough to warrant the heat he often takes …. I as much (possibly more ) need to remember this fact. It is all too easy to side with those you have grown to respect ….. even love ….. without giving certain situations their due.

That said: I am NOT making a statement concerning the issue at hand. Just trying to keep a perspective on the big picture. If you think I give the Prof …. or anybody any special consideration you are WRONG! I simply try to curb my natural incentive to back those that are of the same birth ….. in this case that being another aff.

I hope I have made myself clear in this matter because as always … I tell it like I see it regardless of where the cards fall. Its sadly a fact that sometimes they fall against my first instincts ….. when I am perfect … trust me…….. I’ll be the first to announce the proclamation :)

I’m afraid Natalie, you are not quite right, there were 2 clicks and 4 downloads according to stats.

I have send these clicks BEFORE I was deactivated. The screen shot was made on March 01, 2007. As for deactivation – I was emailed about your decision on March 24, 2007. After that date I do not have access to my account.

Here is the screenshot – Cool cat

Once again – I was not paid in full for players I brought before I decided to pull out the most of links to GW’s Casinos. The last payment was only the part. Even if they left owed me $1 after it – the GW still owes me.

    No emails from GW yesterday.
I received email only 5 minutes ago while I was writing this post.

Natalie, I NEVER said I do not agree with terms!!!! I said you did not pay me in full!

I have read the thread and I do NOT recall Maxus stating that! Don’t try to call me out and think I will come here to apologize because I have not bashed you personally, I have stated that for a program to change terms and hold an affiliates money hostage for banner space is plain WRONG and predatory.

I feel your pain I don’t know how old this thread is but GW currently owes me around 3.5k as a player. They changed the TC’s while they were paying me about a measly 1k a month by saying the bonus I received was non-redeemable. Yet I asked specifically if it was, and they even assured me it was when I went to initially cash out. Hell this place can’t even treat there players that deposit 10k multiple times while playing $200 a hand BJ decent. Hell I wagered roughly $550,000 in a matter of a few hours. First time I played here it took them a year to pay me.

I feel I was cheated again since Natalie promised to look into my matter via email.

It was stupid of me to believe she was going to do smth since I could prove she was lying to CAP.

    Hello Maxim and Everyone,

I did not want to make any statement when I left GamblingWages, however I will have to say that it was because of professional disagreements with their owners. I really do not want to go into details, as I would not like to provoke a big discussion around this matter. Besides, I would feel bad for Nicolas, my ex assistant who still works there, because he´s trying very hard to do a good job as new affiliate manager and I would not like to give him any hard time. However, I will have to say into my defense, that I´ve seen too many unlawful situations at GW, and it made me leave the company, as I did not want to relate my name to them anymore. Our professional ethics are different; I simply lost patience when dealing with payouts and multiple complaints.

Please refer all of your issues to Nicolas at gamblingwages dot com , and I hope he’ll be able to help you.

    Regards,

    Natalie Stewart.

    Hi N,

    very ………politically put.

but like most …. I Read between the lines and don’t blame you for leaving.

what makes me most amazed ……is these casinos make … and stand to make even so much more ….. and yet act in the accordance they do.

hang onto that tree in front of you GW. the forest is quickly becoming out of reach.
