    Greetings!

We all have seen posts with doubts concerning negative carry over issues, so let’s try to compile that information for all CAP certified programs, in an easy place for everyone to see.
The “Negative carry over thread” links to each reply. This will take a while, but it’s time well spent. I like organized information.
This way we will easily see which programs understand negative balances as advertising costs, and don’t carry over.

    Questions:

    1) Do you carry over negative balance?

    2) Is the winning player removed from the account?

    3) The webmaster has to request a non negative carry over agreement?

    4) Any restriction?

    Thank you for your reply!

    Hi

    Here are your answers:

    Questions:

    1) Do you carry over negative balance?
    No

    2) Is the winning player removed from the account?
No, but I can see the point to the question, and the affiliate is at an advantage at this point, however this is a partnership and hopefully we have a long term relationship we both benefit from.

    3) The webmaster has to request a non negative carry over agreement?
No, included in terms already and is available for all affiliates

    4) Any restriction?
    No restrictions, nothing hidden.

    Thanks
    Jason

Thank you Jason!! We all hope that in the long term we all profit. The problem is that a small affiliate may not be able to get out of the negative balance, and just give up. The affiliate program will also loose in the long term, because the affiliate won’t bring new players there…

Hey, I think I should also post this in the main thread… :)

    See you around!!

    Well.. this has changed

    Hi

We have decided to restructure our rev share model and effective from the 1st December the minimum rev share % has been increased from 25% to 30%. Your accounts will be automatically upgraded with the new 30% level on the 1st.
We have also decided to discontinue the no negative carryover rule simply because there are consequences to it that we prefer to avoid. Before coming to this decision we made certain we were doing the right thing by contacting some of you to discuss it. The general consensus was having a higher rev share to compensate for the carryover would be acceptable.

I want us to have a profitable relationship so I am happy to discuss any issues with you on a personal level if accounts are hit by large winners.

There really has never been a better time to promote our brands, especially as we accept US players at Club World Casino and we employ a highly trained and professional multi-lingual customer service team ensuring your players continue to enjoy themselves with us.

If you need anything then please feel free to contact me and I look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with you.

    Regards

    Jason

That’s ok by me. I usually just remove programs that stick me with a large carryover until they correct themselves. If I can talk to the program and have it removed if the player doesn’t play it back, then I see no problem.

I think it is ok for CWC to go this route, I can understand the no neg rule could hurt the casinos as much as the affiliates, and as long as the program is willing to work with us I am happy.

They could have went the way many others out there do and not be honest and just take the player away from us, we all know that happens one way or another.:nervous:

I’m with Dom on that one. I can see why negative carry-over is used, and I don’t have a problem with it personally – it’s more important that the casino is reputable IMO. But like Dom, I would tend to de-prioritise a neg carry-over property when I’m down – it’s just a sensible business move to send a player where I can earn from them.

The $3k per week cashout rule aside (which is not an issue for most low-rollers anyway), I’ve liked what I’ve seen so far.
