Spider-Man, Hulk, X-Men and other heroes extend their stay with CryptoLogic to 2013
June 22, 2009 (Dublin, IRELAND) — CryptoLogic Limited, a world leader in Internet casino and branded gaming software, today announced the extension of its exclusive licensing agreement with Marvel Entertainment, Inc., a relationship that has produced some of the company’s most popular and profitable games.
Under the agreement, CryptoLogic retains its rights as the exclusive worldwide developer of Internet casino games based on Marvel’s characters as they appear in the comic books through 2013. This is the third time CryptoLogic has extended its very successful licensing agreement with Marvel.

They have proven they are able to translate Marvel’s world renowned Super Heroes into hugely successful Internet casino games and we are confident they will continue to fully leverage these properties on a global level.”

At CAP Down Under I spoke to a few folks about this also. I still remember the most impressive presentation by NextGen Gaming on the Marvel Slots. Don’t forget, Australians are said to be the biggest online gamblers in the world and I can tell you that this stuff is red hot in Australian news media. All we need is Marvel legend Stan Lee and Bodog’s Calvin Ayre to hit the Bondi Beach shores now. Marvel slots adds to the heat down under in Australia, and Captain Cooks Casino still flies the flag, while Party makes ground, and Virgin Games plugs into the movie themes with Transformers.
