InactiveI switched over to the new model. As well has having more in-depth stats I also noticed my income move up.

InactiveCR came up with a solution. You can keep your existing players on the old RevShare plan if you want to. But, from this point on, any NEW players you refer will be on the new wager share model.
I don’t like this, but I doubt there is anything we can do about it. It isn’t a retroactive change. So long as they apply the old model to the players we sent them under the old T&Cs (if that’s what we want them to do), then they aren’t doing anything wrong. You can opt to have your entire player base moved to the new model, but once that is done, it’s final. If it turns out that you made a mistake — i.e. if many of your players turn out to be the type that swoops in, drops $200 in 5 minutes, and then leaves — sucks to be you! :woo-hoo:

InactiveI don’t think that is a solution.
I did not ever sign up for the new model, so shouldn’t my players ALL fall under the old model whether those players come along tomorrow or have been with me for a while?
That is STILL retroactively changing the terms. I don’t care how friendly or ‘responsive’ the aff managers are.

InactiveNo, that’s not retroactively changing the terms. If you don’t want to send players under their new terms, then don’t. Noone ever agreed to always offer you the same program forever.
The fact that they have readily agreed to honor the old terms for the old players is to be applauded. Too many times now we have seen programs have to be dragged kicking and screaming into compliance with their original terms. So far, RewardsAffiliates appears to be doing the right thing.

I agree.
You may not like the new payment model, and no one forces you to use it.
You signed up for something else, and you get to keep that. The players you have are yours for life under the same terms you contracted for.
If you want to send new players, then you need to sign for the new deal.
They are changing the way they do business, and you may or may not like that, but they are not retroactively changing anything, and they are honoring their contracts.
I understand your frustration, I was very unsatisfied with the money mechanic solution back when, but it was above board so I bit my tongue.

InactiveI dont think that any of us can claim that they are retroactively changing the terms.
They have agreed to keep old players under the old terms that were initially agreed upon. All of your old players are still mapped to your account, and you are getting paid for them using the agreed upon method.
Going forward you have the choice to continue to do business under these new terms, or you have the choice to try a different program. What you decide to do is of course your decision but I dont think that we can accuse casinorewards of doing anything wrong. Whatever you decide to do, it wont affect your old players.

agree whole-heartedly on that one.
and say what you want …. but to me its encouraging to hear Ant say that he saw an increase …
I asked Ryan to check back 2 months and I’d have made a bunch more one month and bunch less the next, but it came out to being that I’d end up losing a little bit (if you judged strictly on those two months) but he said mine was not the norm and when I add into my thinking that
1. I wasn’t hurt too much
2. said mine was not the norm so perhaps I’ll actually see better results down the line.
3. now I’m reading where others have done some computing and they figure they came out ahead.that in any case it looks like this won’t be a situation where the new offer is so substantially undesireable that I’d be needing to replace the casinos.
