Hi all!

My site “http://www.onlinegamblingpal.com/” has been up now for several months and currently it receives 30 unique visitors each day. In total I have had several thousands of unique visitors (between 2k and 3k) now but till now I didn’t generate any depositing players. I think I should have had some depositing players with this number of visitors or am I wrong here?

Can someone tell me what the conversion from visitors to depositing players is on an average English gambling affiliate site?

Additionally, do you guys have any advice on how to improve the conversion of the site?

Add more content. Try to write an article everyday. After a year you will have lots of articles and you will get more visitors. Content is king!

Also I would have changed the design a bit. The menu is almost invisible. Add some dynamic stuff like polls and tournament feeds. Set up some tournaments for your visitors.

Try to find out what your visitors are searching for and give them that. Are they really looking for the pokerrooms u are promoting or did u chose them for they offered good comission?

Focus on very few words in your SEO work and be dominant for those words. You can then expand to other words!

I already analyzed my visitor statistics. I have mainly US visitors, that’s why I started to promote the US casinos. I think my selection of casinos is not bad or should I maybe add some others? Any suggestions on which casinos to pick?

Well….I not really recognising all your brands but I also got an thought looking into your site.

10 reviews is of course good from an visitor perspective. You get a lot of relevant info but I suspect you do not deliver too many out clicks to every room.

I would cut it down to five reviews, by this doubling the out clicks to the existing ones in by this getting conversion faster.

I did this exact action on a section I run on a big swedish content site. We had one pokerroom that converted amazingly with the swedish trafic and this was the quickest action to divert traffic from low converting landing pages to high converting ones. The number of out click stayed basically constant but our earnings increased 30%.

I would add much more content you dont have alot of content. You must build alot more quality links you dont have alot of links. Do these to and your site should do alot better.

thanks again for the advices. The final thing I would really like to know is what your experiences are when it comes to the ratio “number of visitors” / “depositing players”

Like I said, I had between 2000 and 3000 unique visitors till now in total but no depositing players yet. Of course, conversions will differ from site to site but, in general, how many visitors do we need to get 1 depositing casino player?

It all depends on the sources of trafic. I have seen everything from 0-10%

Hi,

It can be very frustrating and whilst 30 visitors seems good it may be that a lot of that traffic is junk, search engine crawlers people looking for link exchange partners etc. The quality of the visitors will increase over time as you add better content although the number of visitors might not.

All I can say is keep going, when you get that that first whale it is so so sweet :colgate:

I agree with Heimdal. Work harder, try new things. Look for something that is working. It is obvous that your current visitors are not the right one. Look in other places!
