Hi Sara / Jasper,
Please see this thread: http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/alljackpotjoy-com-content-thief.25969.html?
This affiliate promotes Jackpotjoy. I believe the tracker ID is UA-784066-1 (but I’m not 100% sure).
Please close his account.
Thanks in advance.
March 27, 2008 at 12:53 pm #764312AnonymousInactiveHi Dave,
Many thanks for bringing this to our attention.
I can’t seem to find a Jackpotjoy or any other Income Access merchant link on their site to track down the affiliate.
Can you point me to the Jackpotjoy campaign you mentioned so I can identify the affiliate? The tracking ID you listed is not one of our tracking profiles.
We have zero tolerance for content thieves and will gladly take swift action to help stop the robbers in their tracks.
Many thanks,
Sarafina
March 27, 2008 at 1:13 pm #764315AnonymousInactiveHi Sara,
If you go to alljackpotjoy.com, scroll down a little bit, there is a banner that points to Jackpotjoy. The aff tag is masked, but if you click on the banner anyway, you’re taken to xhttp://static.jackpotjoy.com/upload/design/bingo/
From there, I’m not exactly sure how to determine the affiliate tag. I viewed the source code and pulled “UA-784066-1 ” from a piece of javascript in the source.
March 27, 2008 at 1:19 pm #764319AnonymousInactiveWhen I go to alljackpotjoy.com, I get automatically redirected to google..
March 27, 2008 at 1:24 pm #764320AnonymousInactiveThanks for this info, peralis.
This is new — within the last 10 minutes, the owner of the site has redirected the site to Google.
Very interesting.
I guess he reads CAP?
Whoever you are — YOU’RE A MAJOR ASSHOLE.
March 27, 2008 at 1:27 pm #764322AnonymousInactiveHi Dave,
Thanks for the speedy response. When I go to alljackpotjoy.com, I get redirected to xhttp://www.google.co.uk/.
I can only get to the URLs you identified in your previous post, i.e.,
xhttp://www.alljackpotjoy.com/megamoolah.htm
xhttp://www.alljackpotjoy.com/supajax.htm
xhttp://www.alljackpotjoy.com/wowpot.htm
xhttp://www.alljackpotjoy.com/treasurenile.htmCan you grab the URL that features the Jackpotjoy campaign or is it only on the homepage URL?
I also searched our database under alljackpotjoy.com but can’t seem to spot the affiliate.
Any digging you can do to help us ID the affiliate is much appreciated.
Thanks as ever.
Cheers,
Fina
March 27, 2008 at 1:28 pm #764323AnonymousInactiveAnother update — only the homepage has been redirected. All of the other pgaes are still online.
Here is a cached copy of the homepage, where you can see the Jackpotjoy banner that I referred to earlier: http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:1lY7CoRzNkQJ:www.alljackpotjoy.com/+site:www.alljackpotjoy.com&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us
Here are a few more pages that Google had indexed: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Awww.alljackpotjoy.com&btnG=Google+Search
March 27, 2008 at 1:30 pm #764324AnonymousInactivePerlais, lovely to see you again.
Dave, we’ll keep on digging until we get to the bottom of it.
Cheers,
Fina
March 27, 2008 at 1:32 pm #764325AnonymousInactiveHi Sara,
Try checking the cached page above.
Thanks very much for your help!
March 27, 2008 at 1:39 pm #764331AnonymousInactiveI’m on it Dave.
March 27, 2008 at 1:56 pm #764335AnonymousInactiveMore pages of the site have been taken offline within the last few minutes.
And now, the homepage doesn’t redirect to Google anymore. Now it’s an exact copy of xhttp://www.jackpotjoy-slot.com.
Who owns these sites?
March 27, 2008 at 2:05 pm #764336AnonymousInactiveAt least it is reassuring that the pressure from here (CAP and the programs listed here that help) can get people to stop their nonsense
March 27, 2008 at 2:30 pm #764347AnonymousInactiveYep, very true!
Although now this guy is ripping off another affiliate’s content.
alljackpotjoy.com has magically transformed into a near-exact copy of http://www.jackpotjoy-slot.com, which is owned by the same guy who owns 5-online-slots.com and lineslots.com. If anyone knows John Sims (owner of those two sites, among others), please let him know that his jackpotjoy-slot.com site is being ripped off.
March 27, 2008 at 5:25 pm #764371AnonymousInactiveHi Dave & Kevin,
Just wanted to let you know that we’ve tracked down the affiliate and are taking due action.
Thanks again for all.
Cheers,
Sarafina
