Hi all,
so I’d read the thread here at CAP titled the best RTG casino and there was some praise for club world casino …. so I thought I’d list them. That perhaps after all this time I’d shunned RTGs that maybe they’d stepped up to finally be worthy of my not thinking they were the online equivalent of our local scratch-off lotteries.
after signing up thru the Prof’s ref code and getting them fairly situated on my sites where I’d planned to put them …. I visit the site because I needed to know how many games they offer.
upon visiting the site I decided to check out the bonus T&Cs and was shocked to see this term
Each coupon has its own individual wagering requirements attached. Your Playthrough Balance (in the Cashier section of the casino) shows you how much you need to wager on your deposit. Every time you place a bet, your Playthrough Balance will decrease by that amount. When it reaches zero you have fulfilled the wagering requirements and are free to cash out a maximum of $2000 (minus the bonus amount).
first off… is that “minus the bonus amount” meaning the $750 they advertise on the site? hmmm… so the worst the stand to lose is $1250? Gee what a bonanza!
sigh. I will have to run a warning next to all the links telling players that’s how the deal works. – I can’t call them out-right scoundrels since they do mention at the end of their long list of terms that if you don’t request the bonus via adding in the bonus code … that you are not bound by those rules.
I still think its tacky.
perhaps the next bonus “offer” might read something like “and if you win any considerable amount you will be paid in manager credits (so we can screw our partner affiliates too) which are good to play at the casino but can never be cashed out for real money unless you’re willing to fly over here to our friendly little island somewhere south of the equator and wrestle the man-eating tiger we’ve imported in for just such an occasion”….
And I bet people are just lined up to get that great offer.
Some casinos have sticky bonuses, mostly it was Playtechs it seemed to me. But ClubUSA has sticky bonuses also. I have no problem with sticky bonuses. You cannot ever cashout the bonus, but you can cashout the winnings from the bonus.
As far as that max cashout of $2000 rule, I wasn’t aware of it. Personally I rarely use bonus coupons at RTG’s, but this is interesting. Thanks for pointing that out.
They still are a top casino in my book.

I find a lot of players liking stickies, it depends on how they play and is a matter of preference. While it doesn’t let you cashout the bonus, you can play with a much better bankroll and keep the winnings. Especially slots players benefit.
I have only heard good things about these casinos, haven’t heard of any cashout problems, but that max cashout rule is getting more and more prevalent among RTG casinos. Seems to be a direction RTG is heading.

well it seems to me that it would pretty much negate (that spelled right?) … the whole goal a slots player is seeking to achieve.
I mean if you are going to play for the small win … I’d think that a better-odds game would be the way to go.
hitting the big jackpot IMHO is the whole allure of playing slots.
I suppose the small stakes gamblers might not be effected by a $1250 cash-out limit ($2000 – $750 bonus) …. but anybody playing for the larger credit values is going to greatly be disappointed when/if they hit the big win and can only cash-out a small portion of the money.
I guess it all boils down to the old saying “you don’t get something for nothing in this world”. Accepting that attractive looking bonus has serious strings attached to it.
I’m still not comfortable with promoting a casino that has such a bonus structure but it sounds like if I want to have a RTG to list ……. I’m going to have to get used to it.
A bit off-topic but I’m going to vent anyway. a while back I was accused by some of the cronies at CM’s site that I was preaching to my readers to avoid bonus offers because I was worried it would effect my bottom line.
Here’s a great example of just the opposite. Of course it would be to my advantage to promote such an offer because just like the casino … I’d not be facing any chance of getting hit by a huge winner. …. oops! That’s not right either. Thanks to the ingenuity of the RTGs … they can subtract that large bonus amount which they never stand to lose … from my earnings. What a wonderful software!
I think players should be able to choose whether they want bonuses with conditions or not. And at these casinos they can do so.
Personally I agree that bonuses are a nuisance. But I like giving the choices, I know many players who love them because with them the chance of a win is bigger. It’s all a matter of preference.
