When you ‘serve’ ads or clickable regions, you must have to put some phpadsnew-specific code on your pages, correct? Do all of your pages then become php pages? If so, does that hurt SERPS at all?

Yes, a small code is placed. I have a different one on each type page and serve targeted banners.

No, the pages do not become PHP pages, and it does definitely not hurt SERPS.

How, on your sites, do you keep the HUGE url from showing when hovering over the ads?

Right now I see a long url when I hover over the one ad that I placed through phpAdsNew.

In PhpAdsNew when you create an ad you can give a lot of properties to it, for example the status message (it is seen at the bottom of the browser – so you don’t see the original Url.)

The program has a great manual, in it you can find all types of ad and how to create and refine them.
