David spent a considerable amount of time designing and after discussions he explained that they were implemented using a MAC which in itself is not a problem.
However the word document was written using a MAC and this created some agents (not a virus, but show’s up as virus using Virus Scanner).
They have since redone the word document on a PC and uploaded the files again.
You will see that there is no virus, and I congratulate David on a job well done, and look forward to the launch of free downloadable games for your own site and completion of the progressive tickers.
October 15, 2003 at 5:15 am #640160AnonymousInactiveI understand Simon…
and had I not trusted David to make this right, I would have deleted the files (which I did anyway) and would have never gone back to the site…
But instead, I deleted the files, dropped what I was doing and spent the next half hour trying to get a message to David.
I never…..NEVER take any chances with virus infected files (OR SUSPECTED virus infected files)…and no one else should either.
Until a clear cut explanation was given as to what happened, and why Norton gave a false positive, there could be no mistake, I deleted the files and the tech in me had to warn others.
I see damage from virus’s all the time….and some of them are quite nasty.
I totally and completely accept the explanation of what happened here, but when I download a new set of those files, if I get the false positve again, (I doubt I will) I would still not open them.
I also commend David for the work on the templates, from what I could see in the screen shots at the site they are quite lovely, and they do look like they will convert players.

I think the templates are an excellent tool David!
October 15, 2003 at 3:52 pm #640174AnonymousInactiveUnderstand viruses are nasty, and this problem has now been fixed.
Anyway I have started using the template and customized it a bit and seen other affiliates using them.
This is a step in the right direction…
October 16, 2003 at 8:32 pm #640222AnonymousInactivePlease note when downloading the templates to change on casino.asp page affid=’your_casino_id’ to your unique number (ie. affid=’2′).
Good luck and thanks for the great response.
