Just wondering if anyone is involved with the BeTheDealer program. I havent heard back from them in a while and was in the process of private label development.

Also, if anyone has a private label casino from BeTheDealer, how’s the reliability of payments and overall satisfaction.

I was looking to start a private label with them but ran a way when Nadav asked for $3000.00 to get things started.

I spoke to Nadav and Matan quite a bit and ran into the same obstacle.

In order to do a reskin of the casino they want the affiliate to pay for the artwork and design which is approximately
    $2500 – $3k.

I thought this was unreasonable to ask a webmaster to pay to promote their casino. Had they provided the design I would have probably given them good exposure on my network, but they simply wouldnt budge. Penny wise, Pound Foolish.

You don’t have to have them do it though, you can do it yourself or get someone to do it for you a lot cheaper.

Since my last post I have again been in contact with them and have found them to very helpful.

Not sure about this $2k-3K thing, from the beginning it was my understanding that you can do the software modifications and front-end design yourself or there was the option of having them do it. Maybe this is where they charge you but the amount does seem high.

I’ve lost 2 designers in the last couple of months but I can tell you that if you have mid-level graphics skills with Photoshop the graphical software modifications can be done in a relatively short-time, probably a day or so. The software modification instructions are straightforward and there is very little code changes required, again this can be done in 20 minutes or so. Regarding the front-end design, they will provide the content to you for help pages etc. so if you can build a website there should be no problems.

All in all I think the time and effort should be worth it since they offer a number of affiliate payment options and flexibility that is appealing to me. I’m going to be building 2 or three different sites that look the same but have slightly different URLs so I can test and track different ad campaigns. One will be for CPA deals only and the other for commission based payments. The CPA offer should be particularly appealing since they pay a fairly high amount and a decent media buyer should be able to make some deals that will allow for a nice profit.

I wouldnt overlook these guys, their new version 2 software plays alot nicer than the previous version and has multi-player and multi-language play. It’s also cool since players from all the BeTheDealer platforms are merged into one gaming environment without ever knowing it. People from Germany for instance can play with someone from the US and both players are in thier native language. Very neat feature.

So, if you want a private label then this is what has to be done. If not, wait a week or two until mine is up and running and check out what I’m doing. Gonna have additional in-house promotions to boost player conversions as well as some unique affiliate incentives. Stay tuned…. Hope this wasnt too much of a shameless plug.

    Hello everyone,

I would like to give the forum residents an opportunity to learn more about Casino Project through an open discussion. If you have any question, please post it here – I will be visiting the forum on a regular basis from now on and would love to hear your questions, comments, or any other piece of criticism that would help us improve the service and solutions that we offer.

After reading the posts above, it would be best to clarify a few issues concerning Casino Project and the private label program:

    1. The private label service is given for FREE. However, the setup process is more complicated than a regular affiliate and requires the design of a website and customization of our software. We provide a free development package to all of our customers and they can design their own frontend.

In addition, we offer professional design and customization services of the highest quality for a standard fee of $3,000 USD, which are TAKEN AS A TEMPORARY DEPOSIT for 30 days and paid back in full. This amount ensures a quick and efficient setup process by covering the costs for designers and tech support in advance. We give this money back in full after 30 days in a payment method chosen by the customer.

    2. Each private label is unique, carrying its own look & feel. We do not use templates because we don’t believe in them. We want each casino to be special instead of recycling the same content over and over and creating a “spam” environment for potential players. We also try to differentiate the casinos by providing a more flexible marketing environment (eg different promotions, niche isolation) – all of this really depends on the customer’s marketing needs. Our aim is to provide a powerful and flexible marketing solution instead of just the “white label” product.

    3. We currently provide full support in 8 different languages – English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, and Hebrew. Full support includes fully translated website, customized software (texts and sounds) and customer support. We can provide this service to all of our private labels – translated website content and development packs are available in all 8 languages. In addition, we are in the process of finishing translation to several other languages including Greek, Turkish and Chinese. In some cases we already have the site and software translated but still don’t have the support staff required and such support in my opinion would be incomplete.

If you have more questions, please feel free to post them on this forum – I’ll be keeping my eyes open!

    Best regards,

Nadav this is the first I have heard of the “deposit” return. Can you please ealaborate on this.

What are the terms and conditions of this offer?

If you return the the $3000 in 30 days anyway why is it necessary for the affiliate webmaster to part with these funds in the first place?

Couldn’t the designers be paid by Casino Project under a Net 30 arrangement with no out of pocket expenses by the affiliate?

Are there additional “Tech Support” fees moving forward?

When player bonuses change or monthly promotions occur does the affiliate bear the costs of the site updates? What is the per hour costs for the designers to perform these changes?

Thanks for the help, I am trying to get a better handle on the mechanics of the offer.

    Hi Lou,

Sorry, I caught a virus and just HAD to take a day off to recover.

We see the standard fee as a win-win solution to all parties involved in the setup process:

BeTheDealer Casino: Even though BeTheDealer is successful, management is reluctant to expand such amounts without knowing they will get it back somehow.

Casino Project: We still have a smaller budget than we wish – advanced technical features require programmers, personal treatment for private label owners requires support staff, and building high quality casinos is expensive. We can’t afford all of them at once. We need to prove management that we are dealing with serious customers who can invest into marketing their product.

Designers: We have a third-party doing the design for us and they have produced the most beautiful designs on the net so far, IMO. They want to get paid up front and we think it’s worth it. The Casino Project website was designed by this team, and the traffic is flowing ever since :)

Marketers: They want a high quality product that would convert well. Such products are either available at high prices or “home made” by the webmaster/marketer and eats up the budget. They want something either for free or at least relatively cheap.

This flexible solution allows everyone to see the risk significantly decreased. The marketers pay in advance, become obligated to marketing the product, and get their money back in any case as if it was never given. The designers get paid in advance, provide their high quality design quickly and effectively. Casino Project has proof that they can support their budget and receive more support from BeTheDealer management. The casino management “recruits” a powerful partner by providing an advanced marketing tool without actually taking money from the partner.
I believe many webmasters would go with the “home made” solution and that’s fine indeed. We give out the package for free – it’s easy to understand and simple to use. However, if you plan on marketing a large private label casino that will compete with the top casinos out there (and not just make an improved affiliate), I suggest working with a professional designer and we can give you that in very comfortable conditions.

As for additional tech support fees, this depends on the situation. If you want us to design a newsletter for you, we need to get paid. However, we can supply you with our own newsletters customized to include your co-brand for free. If you need special banner ads that we don’t have, we can design them for you at a certain fee. However, we can also give you the graphic source files of all our banners and you can customize them to your needs.

Hosting and updating is not part of tech support but we inform all private label owners on any updates made to the software, site or service. In fact, we plan to send out a weekly newsletter to all owners starting on late August. It will include software updates, website content and various marketing advice relevant to BeTheDealer private labels.

This is of course an open discussion, so comments and suggestions are also very welcome. After all, we set up this private label service for your marketing needs, to give our partners a better tool, so we also want to hear firsthand what’s on your mind and heart.

    Cheers,
    Nadav
