I am not posting this in the CP forum because I would really like to get some sort of payment from them before really showing Sammy’s true colors publicly.
Obviously you need to read this from the bottom up.Are you assuming 37 players?!
I’ll wait for the CPRs list.Sam Blum

Subject: Re: CD PokerI would either resolve it for approx. $150 per player which comes to
$5550 or close to it, otherwise we’ll get them all moved under us and
I’ll take the rev. share for the life of each one going back to the day
they signed up.

He admitted this to me in Vegas and said “If you know of a way to solve it let me know, but as of today we haven’t been able to resolve it, we’ve known about this problem for a long time.”

December 4, 2005 at 3:48 pm #677825AnonymousInactiveI suppose a lot of other programs are the same way.
Perhaps CAP needs to bring this up as a possible industry issue.
December 4, 2005 at 10:41 pm #677838AnonymousInactiveWell Eilon just came on messenger and we had a very long (mostly unproductive) conversation, where he was trying to convince me that CP is reputable and won’t screw me. LMFAO!
Anyways, long story short, I’ve gotten a few replies with the CPR#s and I’ll just have to wait til everyone gets that to me and hope that they tell me honestly if that person is under me and if not, they credit me accordingly.
He also promised to post his reply to my cookies issue in the public forum.
December 4, 2005 at 11:06 pm #677841AnonymousInactiveEllen, I have removed them completely from all my sites over this issue. Its a small thing, but I didnt want to promote a site thats screwing one of my friends in the biz..
December 4, 2005 at 11:31 pm #677843AnonymousInactiveThanks Holis, I don’t expect that from anyone at all
December 16, 2005 at 8:30 am #678746AnonymousInactiveJust an update, I got 28 account numbers sent off to them, these were all players saying they were at least 90% sure they were signed up under us, 8 are showing up under another affiliate, 11 are under me and 9 are showing up under a default.
I do understand that a few would possibly sign up under other affiliates, but I am certain a few of these would of signed up under us. We met some on this list when in the US, and they’ve posted publicly that they signed up using our links, we do believe them to be very loyal and they would, but forgetting that….
the 9 under the default ALL are our members, out of those 9, 3 are our moderators and the other 6 are 2+ year members of our forum. He is moving those under us, and offered an amount to settle as well, we said no, we feel it’s worth double that amount, they said that with those 9 default players we would be negative -$500+ right now, that one won the CP Poker Tour and therefore $500 comes off the top
We’re still waiting on a dozen or so more account numbers to be turned in to me to check, but they have now called me 3x (once last night and 2x today already) wanting to resolve this.
The bottom line is, if 9 of our players 110% without a doubt showed up under a default, how many are you all missing as well, but don’t have the luxury of asking the members one on one? It’s scary.
We just want to get some of the money owed to us, but we will NEVER promote them again.
December 16, 2005 at 2:47 pm #678758AnonymousInactiveThey want to settle fast so you’ll stop posting, but they don’t want to pay anything.
That kind of bites them anyway – they are just proving that sending all those players to them didn’t do you any good, one way or another.
They might as well lose them…
Not a good place to send players. I will drop them at next update. The only thing profitable I have going there is Ruby Bingo – the prestige group lost all its players since they got them.
December 20, 2005 at 5:56 am #678912AnonymousInactiveOh no are we in trouble? Has this issue been solved yet? EllenIng what exactly do you want, just your money you think cpays owes you? I have scimmed over this thread a few times but I gave it a good reading and it appears you are being burnt. Are you willing to give me your aff tags. I can’t promise anything I will take this complaint and deal with it outside of CAP.
Its up to you? greek39
December 20, 2005 at 6:06 am #678913AnonymousInactiveWell, half-ass….we’re taking $2k only because it’s that or nothing, here’s my MSN conversation with Eilon earlier today:
[email protected] says:
We want to close this issue today – and so we want to transfer you $2000 and end this issue for good.
Ellen says:
no thanks, $2000 is not enough
Ellen says:
i wanted $4000-$5000 you offered $2000, $3000 is in the middle, i don’t have time to bargain back and forth
Ellen says:
i’ve spoken to many of those “default” players and they played a lot back in Feb, to Sept….
[email protected] says:
Ellen, $2000 is reasonable considering these players are not active for long and didn’t produce much rake especially after winning these bonuses – i checked this issue again and again and i believe this is a reasonable compansation considering this situation
Ellen says:
no thanks Eilon
Ellen says:
Dean and I discussed this and agree $3000 is the lowest we’ll go
[email protected] says:
Ellen you can be sure i am doing the best here to help sort this issue as fast as i can with less headaches for the both of us – but as i took a step forward you must do the same…
Ellen says:
there are still players that haven’t given me their acct nos and what about all the players we’re not aware of??
[email protected] says:
Negotiation is about both parties to be satisfied at the end..
Ellen says:
well i wanted $4k-$5k so $2k is not ssatisfying to me
[email protected] says:
Ellen, please be reasonable you can’t demand something that you wouldn’t have got in the first place – that would be considered as blackmail
[email protected] says:
And again – i’m doing my best to see this through your point of view – and your trouble of getting in touch with us again and again and the trouble of collecting the players usernames…
[email protected] says:
but still…
Ellen says:
ok Eilon, send me the $2k obviously this is about satisfying your end
[email protected] says:
Ellen obviously i would like you to be satisfied as well
Ellen says:
i’ll take the $2k that’s obviously all you are willing to pay, please send it to my neteller under [email protected]
[email protected] says:
but we must keep in mind that 2 play this game and you can be sure we are making the most effort to please you.
[email protected] says:
Ok this will be done in about 7 hours as the first finance department employee gets to work (it’s 3 am right now)
[email protected] says:
But Ellen i’m taking this as the end of the story as of this matter – am i right?
Ellen says:
i will post the truth, that we were compensated somewhat
[email protected] says:
Obviously i’m not asking you to lie in any sort of way
Ellen says:
yup
[email protected] says:
Ellen, maybe in the next convention we will see each other and laugh about this all story…
Ellen says:
u never know
[email protected] says:
I hope so at least.
[email protected] says:
Anyway i will make sure the transfer will be done in a few hours and follow up on this later on through the day.
Ellen says:
ok tx
[email protected] says:
And again i really hope you understand that this is not a surrender act on your side – i think this is an adequate compansation.
[email protected] says:
Anyway have a good day and we’ll talk later on.
Ellen says:
bye Eilon
[email protected] says:
Bye.The ONLY reason I settled for this is it was absolutely apparent that’s all they were going to offer after 4 phone calls. I still haven’t received it and it’s been 6 hours.
Under no circumstances will we promote them again anyways.
December 20, 2005 at 6:34 am #678916AnonymousInactiveI find this most unfortunate and disturbing. But it appears the matter has been settled to cpays advantage. This Eilon character and I have cross paths in the past. He made me an offer then said he forgot. I am going to something but not sure what, maybe after xmas. I am truly sorry for the outcome. greek39
December 20, 2005 at 9:50 am #678929AnonymousInactiveEllen that result sucks but I can see why you took it in the end. $2000 in the pocket (well hopefully if it arrives) is better than nothing.
Hopefully they can now begin to deal with all the other affiliate complaints that are in the queue. Whilst mine is nowhere near the quantum of your problem as it’s just locked accounts and no notice about doing it, anybody who visits CAP or GPWA is well warned not to deal with these people.
December 20, 2005 at 4:20 pm #678949AnonymousInactiveI agree, this sucks. Big time.
December 20, 2005 at 4:21 pm #678950AnonymousInactiveI agree Cpays has stock holders. This is where the problems usually arise. Sometimes its the individual stock holder causes the problems. I am seriously debating on dropping cpays. I will send a nasty email first. greek39
December 20, 2005 at 10:48 pm #678972AnonymousInactiveWe just got the $2k a few hours ago….I am going to post in the main forum now….
December 20, 2005 at 11:27 pm #678980AnonymousInactiveThere is something I forgot to mention, in one of the phone conversations with Eilon, I was told he would put all those players under us, including the 8 that are under other affiliates….makes me wonder how often we lose players to this as well, reagardless we won’t be promoting them anymore so it doesn’t matter to me, but to some of you it may.
Not mentioning the fact that this tracking issue is STILL not solved.
