InactiveHave they been bought by Cpays?
I keep hearing rumors…
The Cpays rep has stopped bugging me and now I have a Casino Partners guy do the exact same song and dance driving me nuts – I am going to have to block him.
I also hear rumors among managers that they are the exact same thing.
Anyone have any hard facts?

InactiveAll I know is that they use the same scare tactics at both programs. i.e., if you don’t give them enough exposure they will threaten to reduce your revshare percentage despite their Terms and Conditions… I have heard this over and over from both programs… More recently from Casino Partners.

InactiveCasino Partners started going downhill when Laurent left. Things will probably gets worse as time passes.

InactiveAt least I can’t get screwed again if this is true. I have a big negative balance with Casino Partners, so there’s no way I could give them exposure now unless they wiped it out anyway.
Casino Pays, as usual, is screwing me over their acquisition of Sky Kings affiliate program. They say they bought the name but not the outstanding debt. Sky Affiliates owed me a few hundred when they sold out.
Someone at Casino Pays says they are seeing what they can do for me, but I expect hell will freeze over before I see that money.
I sure wish we had a crystal ball to know which programs were being courted by Casino Pays. I’d drop them in a flash. I lost substantial money when they bought up New York and USA casinos, lost again when they scooped up Amber Coast, and looks like Sky Kings will follow the trend.
For anyone who has so far ignored all the bad vibes, run away, run away when Casino Pays is involved.

Even outside of their strongarm tactics and their blatant use of ‘Black Hat’ websites – their terms have some very dubious clauses.

InactiveI spoke to him at CAP London and he wouldn’t say, I got the sense that there was some disagreements within the organization. A Cpays buyout would definately cause some tension there.

MemberI spoke to the owner of Casino Partners a few weeks ago when Warren was in the middle east visiting clients in Tel Aviv and Cyprus, I dont believe they were acquired, but I do know this much after Laurent left my income with CP vanished…

InactiveWell, their sales reps (and I am not going to call them aff managers) have the exact same training now.
The same strong arm tactics and dangled carrots as Cpays employs, exactly.
Well, yes, we have a negative carryover, but we’ll give you a bonus that will be larger than the negative so you still make money
(not a direct quote, from memory)
When you complain about a term they propose a personal fix. With Cpays these never materialized.
Sorry, you had to bring in 50 new players to get that bonus
Well, that was never mentioned before.
That was Cpays, and that is what Cpartners is apparently building up to now.
And pushy, pushy, pushy. I had to block them.
This didn’t use to be Casino Partner style. They were respectful and decent in dealing with people.
I hate pushy salesmen, and that is exactly what cpays and cpartners are.
Laurent left for good reason.
And I still think they are cpays owned, several playtech folks said so. Of course they were the competition…

InactiveI’m surprised more people don’t know Playtech owns Cpays.
Haven’t you received spam on accounts you only use for affiliate programs? Playtech will sell their souls for the right price.

InactiveRumours are rumours. Having been to Israel myself not that long ago, i would have never even imagined that CPays is able to buy out CPartners – if you pay both companies a little visit you at the first glance get the idea who means more in the industry. Not to mention the whole support team, about 200 pax, that CParners have out in Manilla – where coincidentally Playtech has its support as well :]
There has always been strong connection between Playtech and both CPays and CPartners if you ask me – but how deep it goes i have no way of telling… And true – since the departue of Laurent things are not looking better at all with CPartners. Its April already and i have still not been paid for January :unhappy:
