This may be a really stupid question that I just can’t see the answer to. Why can’t the casinos and affiliate programs issue their own debit cards as a means to pay their players and affiliates. Hell every other company has debit cards. Could someone clue me in on something that I’m just not seeing here?

    hello,

if a partner program offers such a debit card for affiliates please send me a pm.
i will give you first places on my sites.

most don’t pay via neteller nomore.
i am living in europe and for me the only paying methode is neteller or a debit card from the partner.

i think, there are more affiliates who wish to have a debit card.

    thank you.

Are you thinking about debit cards?

A debit card is issued by a bank and accesses a specific bank account at the bank.

I’ve not seen company issued cards directly accessing financial institution accounts.

    =======

    Or credit cards?

Store credit cards are simply a way of merchants getting people to buy store items easily – and sometimes at high rates of interest.

The card simply records purchases that are then files as “loans” in a credit register.

But … the flow of funds is all one way .. from the customers into the store in the way of checks or automatic payments.

Stores do not pay money into customers accounts.

    ==========

But either way it’s still a moot point.

A “card” whether it’s credit / debit or physical / virtual is only a number into some sort of accounting system … just like palyer accounts are already.

We still have the main problem with using them for player accounts :
    (1) the US government is not letting US citizens deal with casinos – so players cannot pre-fund their accounts.

And it doesn’t solve the affiliate account …
    (1) casinos won’t be able to allow affiliates to transfer this back into the US banking system.

I believe Intertops offers such a card. It can be used for deposits, payouts, and affiliate payments.

    (1) the US government is not letting US citizens deal with casinos – so players cannot pre-fund their accounts.

The government would like to prevent its citizens from playing at online casinos, but they will never have complete control over this. And actually, the new law does not criminalize gambling online — the law aims to prevent U.S. banks and U.S. credit card companies from allowing the transactions to occur.

People can still use their bank accounts, credit cards, or debit cards to fund an ewallet or another debit card (real or virtual). From there, they can purchase music, movies, casino credits, etc. If the ewallet or debit card is based outside the U.S., are they obligated to enforce U.S. law? The U.S. certainly would like everyone to think so (hence the arrest of the NETeller founders), but I doubt that everyone will be willing to go along with this. The U.S. has overstepped its bounds a LOT in recent years, and I don’t think the rest of the world is going to stand for it for much longer.

    (1) casinos won’t be able to allow affiliates to transfer this back into the US banking system.

It isn’t too difficult…. Step 1: Take the casino-issued debit card to an ATM; withdraw the cash. Step 2: Put the cash in an envelope at the ATM and deposit it into your personal account.

***Don’t forget, this is taxable income!***

    xhttp://www.cgpay.co.uk/en/services/withdrawals/

Attention: Employers can benefit from withdrawals service in the following way: Employer sends CG Pay Ltd. a list of payrolls and total amount to be paid to the employees. CG Pay Ltd. issues a payment card for every employee and credit their payment cards the amount according to the Employer’s instructions. Employer saves on bank wires and currency exchange rate, if applicable.

    Hi,

I have it from a reputable source that just such a situation is in the making by a reputable MGS powered group.

I suspect the one reason they haven’t already announced is the worry that MGS is pulling out and therefore making it moot point.

In such case, I would not be surprised to see this group go with another software to keep their US players but that is totally speculation on my part and as such I will not say further to this point until I know proof.

Very surprising that there isnt more of this.

Having said that, C Pays had a debit card and it got shut down by their Canadian bank who operated the cards.

I was pleasantly surprised how quick the card balance was returned to me.

Anyone can brand a debit card. Its a non issue, you don’t need to be a bank.

But it could be asticcky these days if you are a gaming company though.
