Hi CWC,
although it could just be my system, the links on the Cashier are so dark I can hardly see them.

I just checked this, and it seems just fine on my PC, could it be your settings?
Please let me know how you get on
Jason
July 18, 2007 at 11:26 pm #742896AnonymousInactiveThey are clear-ish to me. However, I am red-green colour blind and the difference in shades between the links and the background are not that well defined.
I’m not suggesting slotplayer has extreme RG colour blindness, but I will say that green links on a green background is a struggle.
Incidentally: if anyone with perfect colour vision tells me that the links aren’t green or the background isn’t green, then you can see my problem

good to see your posting.
my son is same. color blind in certain areas.
an excellent point made
July 19, 2007 at 2:25 am #742908AnonymousInactiveHi Jason,
I think the setting are ok.
However, the links I was referring to are all the links in the text copy and not the links across the top. For example the FAQ link is almost black on a black background and the hover is all black. It’s not sharp white like the copy text.
“please visit our FAQ or contact our Customer Support helpdesk.”
It’s as if the css class for the link color is set to EEEEEE and not FFFFFF
try,
I see these links across the top as white with a green background and a hover of black. The whole page background is black? is it not?Home Promotions Cashier Contact Us Security FAQ Download
What do you see?
Cheers,

I have our graphics department looking at this now, thanks to tryme1 and bb1webs for their advice, it seems like it is a problem if someone is “color blind” so this will be fixed shortly.
Please let me know if there is anything else that we can improve on

Hi Jason,
thanks. I don’t think I’m color blind, if anything it’s the inferior video sub system on this computer.
The problem that Aksana http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/a-bug-on-your-site.21555.html? mentioned is a problem with the call to the popup javascript function. One some browsers/versions it opens in a new tab (despite settings) and not a popup window. The text is truncated and not wrapped.
If the tech guys are interested, it works correctly on IE 6.0, Firefox 1.5 and Opera 7.23, however on Netscape 8.1 the javascript function fails and this may be the problem she was seeing.
I know these are older browsers and I don’t have newer versions readily available, however cross browser and backwards compatibility are important.
Cheers,

July 21, 2007 at 7:43 pm #743153nick777MemberIndeed – I am red-green color blind (you should see the first site I ever designed), but I digress.
Thanks for keeping this in mind, Jason. Statistically, red-green color blindness tends more in men than in women.
So, do keep this factoid in mind if you are directing your site toward a male audience (like as in sports).
Kudos for bringing this up.
