March 28, 2008 at 5:32 pm #764457AnonymousInactive:Cry:I apologize that it seems I have been lied to, I have had assistance from others that apparently did steal content from you. I will be addressing these people directly and sincerely apologize. I do wish you had contacted me by PM prior to this post for the simple fact that it is an error I made by trusting another. I will remove the content now as I did not know it had actually come from other sites.
March 28, 2008 at 5:36 pm #764459moneyggirlMemberEdited because the webmaster already replied to Engineer.
March 28, 2008 at 5:37 pm #764460AnonymousInactiveThank you, Cash2C. I appreciate your quick action.
March 28, 2008 at 6:32 pm #764465AnonymousInactiveI too have a large number of sites currently posting my content, I just don’t have the time/resources to chase them down….looks like I can only trust myself for my content :eh:
March 28, 2008 at 7:54 pm #764479AnonymousInactiveCash2C, did you pay an outsourced provider for the content? If so, could you let us know which content ‘writer’ you used so we can avoid them?
March 28, 2008 at 8:00 pm #764481AnonymousInactiveNo I didn’t, they were “friends”, great friends obviously, supposed experienced website designers…they are not supposed to be in the internet casino business in any form as far as I know so, if I can find out whether they have “helped” others, I will definitely let everyone know!
March 28, 2008 at 8:07 pm #764482LucretiaMemberyes I would like to know too which content provider you contacted becasue I am about to order some articles and I sure do not want to get haunted by other affiliates for stealing content !
If anyone wants to sell articles about slots games and they are ORIGINAL ones please pm me so we can make a deal (active CAP members only).
Engineer I am very shocked to see your content being ripped of so many times, shame on you you stupid copycats!
I hope this situation is solved soon for you. All CC affiliate earnings should be yours!
Regards
RickMarch 28, 2008 at 8:50 pm #764490AnonymousInactiveGod, now we have people stealing content and selling it.
Where are we coming to?
I would like to know who this is also, I sure don’t want to find myself carrying someone else’s content. We do reviews in house, but I do outsource a bunch of writing.
March 28, 2008 at 9:22 pm #764492AnonymousInactiveI also think most experienced webmasters have a duty to take 2 seconds and run their new content through copyscape, especially if its from a new content provider that they have never dealt with. No reflection on Cash2c, but I have heard this same excuse so many times. Im sure it’s valid sometimes, but my gut tells me most of the time its just used as a scape goat when the thieves get caught.
This may be a good topic for a sticky in the content buying forum or whatever we have here so new webmasters looking for content understand the potential problem when buying new content and how easy these problems are to avoid by simply doing a few checks, 5 minutes tops. Just a simple 5 step list on how to buy content would be ideal.
1. Unless it’s a trusted content writer with a reputation, don’t pay for it all up front.
2. Slap your content on the web and then run it through http://www.copyscape.com to see if what you just paid for is in fact unique content and not stolen, then you can square up payment after you verify.
3. Ect…. a few other things they may want to consider.
March 28, 2008 at 10:06 pm #764496LucretiaMemberanother possibilty!
If you bought some gambling websites with content -and worse used it for other sites you own- it will sometimes be impossible to check if it is all original!
So the best thing you can do is to put an emailaddress on your website so a webmaster can contact you in case you might be in a violation.
Not all websites seem to have a valid emailaddress though!
Second, cooperate and pull off duplicate content asap.Rick
March 29, 2008 at 12:35 am #764510AnonymousInactiveI understand the concerns here as I also have them. I have been online since 2003 and have never purposefully stolen content or cheated in any manner. I do have my email posted across Cash2C for any other webmasters that feel I have stolen content from them or have any other issues with the site. I am open to all as I have tried very hard to be successful without complications such as the cheaters. I do take responsibility for not having checked the content prior to posting and once again, I apologize.
March 29, 2008 at 3:09 pm #764536AnonymousInactiveI will inform the owner of sunshine-slots :hattip:
