On December 1sts our Mac Client is coming out of the beta testing phase and will become available directly from our website!
We have new Mac creatives which will be released on December 1st, so I’ll post an update once they’re live.
We’ve been excited about this news coming down the pipes for a long time, and we’re very excited to share all the details with you at last…
Beta testing on the new client has gone very well, and some of the new features have been especially popular. Tournament lobbies now open in a separate window, full screen mode has been optimized for smoother play, and improvements have been made to the software’s performance on smaller computers and netbooks.
The most significant aspect of the update for affiliates is clearly that Mac users are now potential customers. Numerous studies have shown that Apple’s market share in the U.S. has grown to over 10% in 2010, and will continue to grow rapidly going forward, meaning there has never been a better time to be Mac-friendly.
Remember too that no Mac user currently has a CarbonPoker account, so this huge new market is absolutely unsaturated. Getting in early with a review of the Mac client and a specific post or two about this exciting news is a great idea.
