December 15, 2006 at 10:43 pm #719020AnonymousInactiveHotel 65 for me. When I got my room I thought it would be some distance from the conference site, but I guess they understood what a VIP I am and moved it a lot closer :wink-wink

December 18, 2006 at 2:47 pm #719255AnonymousInactiveIs there a special rate for the Hilton?
December 18, 2006 at 3:02 pm #719257gholtzmanMemberNo more changes – we promise!
The hotel at Olympia is just a 5 minute walk away from the new venue and there are some other great hotels in the area too (check the CAP Euro site for details). Since announcing the move i have been recommending most people to the Hilton at Olympia owing to its location and price. We haven’t been able to block book the rooms owing to the short notice of the move unfortunately, but the prices are reasonable anyway and there is plenty of availability.
With regards to La Reserve, when i orginally block booked the rooms for CAP here the hotel offered me a night to try it out and I came away unscathed. The rooms are pleasant and i didn’t hear any noise from the road. I didn’t have any problems with bed bugs either. Hopefully you guys will all have a pleasant experience there too.
If i can assit with anything else as a result of the move just lt me know.

The best price i found was a non-refundable reservation at hotels.ca. about $200 USD, plus tax
December 19, 2006 at 3:42 pm #719383AnonymousInactiveI moved from the La Reserve to a place called the Holland Court Hotel. It’s right around the corner from the conference center, and my room was only 75 pounds per night.
